Have been a compassionate self starting caregiver for 12 years traveling within a 40 Mile radius of my home a good friend helped me to get started with helping seniors in their homes it gives me great pleasure to help seniors in need by just being a good listener and companionship and performing all activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing, meal preparation no, light housekeeping, running errands, medication reminders as well as medication management, transportation to appointments, am very familiar with using a Hoyer lift, safety belt, sliding board and other devices for transferring I take my job very seriously and consider it to be a blessing to assist seniors and enable them to maintain a dignified life style

I'm a veteran , mom and sister. My dad passed away last year from esophageal cancer. I've cared for him in various capacities since 2016. Specifically medication management, personal hygiene, transportation to docs, cleaning up for him, light house keeping, and I've been trained in hospice care and first aid. I came from the corporate world which isn't where I am most fulfilled.

I have over 20 years experience,I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I enjoy being a care giver because Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves is so rewarding to me . I am extremely proud of how much strength I have & to me life is a gift that should never be taken lightly. I believe that each of us goes through a journey in life to learn lessons. Once those lessons are learned, which will take many different lifetimes, one would move onto the next level of living. I believe that the reason I am here, the reason that people exist, is to give and receive Devine love. I have set many goals for myself that reflect why I am here and the reason I care for others . As far as myself I am very easy to get along with & am a giver & have so much love & compassion for home care & enjoy every aspects of it ! Also I'm a fast learner & always eager to assist and help .

I am a reserved person, patient, a great organizer, very supportive and always willing to learn and understand new things. These personal traits helps me be a great caregiver. The passion that comes with serving, caring, creating a change and making people happy and comfortable by meeting their needs was what attracted me to being a caregiver. I have been a CNA for almost 16 years and I am slowly on my way to achieving my associates for RN. I have two adorable dogs and I am fostering another puppy at the moment. I love animals and gardening. I do not have children. My transportation is reliable. I love to care for people, as the reward is in itself. The feeling you get knowing you made a difference in someone's life is priceless. I wear my heart on my sleeve! Most experience is with Autism, Cerebral Palsey, Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as Multiple Sclerosis. I have ventilation experience and GI feedings. Experienced with medication administration. CPR certification is up to date, as well as my certification.
