I became a CNA in 1997 when my aunt was in a nursing home. I saw all the folks that needed love and care and thought I would give it a try. Well 2014 I am still a caregiver and can not imagine doing anything else. I have worked in Long Term Care, Home Health Agencies , Group Homes and private duty. My favorite being private duty with one on one care. I love helping people with their everyday needs and try to put some spice in their life by taking them out or offering fun activities in the home. I am willing to travel away from home, currently all my clients are in Centre County.

I'm a very easy person to get along with. Always on time and always make sure my clients are comfortable and needs taken care of asap. I enjoy being a care giver because I enjoy being thr person that can make someone else very comfortable and able to do for them what they can't do.

I've worked with people with special needs (ranging from 18-85) most of my adult career and enjoy making the most out of my client's days however I can. I moved to Chambersburg PA the end of June and am looking to get started with someone who's in need of a caregiver. I am someone who enjoys working with people, and am always looking to make the most out of my client's day. I enjoy seeing goals being met and providing independence however I can. I became attracted to care giving after caring for my mother for over a year and understanding her as a caregiver herself, a women and friend. The most enjoyable part of care giving is providing the person with a since of autonomy.
