I am a great caregiver because I actually wanted to become a nurse because I was raised by my grandmother and I watched her be a caregiver to her parents and kids and also raise me as a daughter and I am her granddaughter. My great grandmother had multiple sclerosis when I was growing up as a young child and she lived next door to us. I used to go help my grandma take care of her till she got bedridden and passed. Both of my grandfathers also had Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's I was also a full-time caregiver to one of them as a young adult. What I enjoy most about being a nurse and a caregiver is companionship. Everyone needs somebody especially the elderly it's very lonely when you get older and I love being a nurse/ caregiver to have my client feel that Most beautiful experience of Someone that actually cares.

Because I'm highly confident that I'm the best fit for the position. Especially after all the great things I've heard about the company. I would fit perfectly into the culture there

What attracted me to being a caregiver is a more free-spirited outlook on life within each client I have as well as to create a very luminous environment when around. That's what I like the most about this field and it is the general outline of fellowship.

Hi Everyone , my name is Tiffany and I've been serving in the caregiving field for over two decades in various settings and roles with seniors , children, disabled adults , and domestic violence survivors . I have always been drawn to roles / opportunities that involve helping and assisting others to live their lives to the fullest while also enabling them function day to day . I love to learn from, listen, and encourage my clients and believe a good attitude and positive energy help achieve these goals . It's also important to meet a client where they are at as this changes as we age and adapt in life . I'm patient , observant , and conscientious. My proudest accomplishments are my two grown children and seeing how they contribute to society by how they give back and live their lives .

I have held many positions in the health field. My reasons for remaining in health care are many but the most prominent is the self gratification of helping others.

Over 14 years experience . Honest, reliable, hard worker, compassionate, ethical, and full of love all says who I am. I also treat others as I like to be treated, with dignity and respect.

My current job does not say much about who I am as a person or a caregiver. Before starting in factory work I worked in a nursing home for 4 years. After the nursing home I worked in assisted living for a year. I gave my heart to those jobs. I loved ever minute of being with the elderly. I started by waking them up and taking them to the toilet. Then I would help them get dressed or dress the ones who were unable. I would then assist with normal morning hygiene care. I would take them to dine with others in the dinning hall and then I would feed the ones who could not go. I would do daily excersizes with the residents and give baths when it came time. After breakfast some would take naps, watch tv or do other things. After my rounds of helping to use the bathroom I would visit with some that I didn't get to spend so much time with because of our morning rush to eat. So many of those people whom I took care of couldn't remember some of their own family, but they knew when they seen me coming everyday and they were so happy at times. At the end of the day helping others comes naturally. My gratitude I get from being a caregiver is just making someone smile. If I can make them smile then I must be doing something well.

I'm a caring and very respectful person. I love to help people maintain themselves in a manner that is dignified and keeps the happy and healthy. Making someone smile helps the time pass and comfort level helpful for them. I wanted to be a caregiver to give back and help people. What I get most out of caregiving is the way I make people feel and helping them be at their best and get the best care I can give some, it makes my heart happy. People are important and need help sometimes it's the best when someone can care for them and help them with even the most minute aspect of living, just to see them smile. The most important thing that I've learned and was completely honored was when a young man I was helping learned how to fold his own laundry and it was just that smile that touched my heart

Its takes a caring heart to do this job. I cared for many in my life and I dont want to stop. I take care of my mother and I have wonderfull little boy.

I have been in the nursing field since I was 16 in one form or another. I always knew I wanted to be a nurse because I always enjoyed helping people and I love to talk, I never meet a stranger no matter where I go , I went to RN school in Indiana and worked on the medical surgical floor and worked in surgery for a few years. I was pretty blessed and was able to stay home with my children as they grew up, so I took time off from my career was a stay at home mother but always knew I would get involved in nursing again .As my children grew up I got involved in homecare which I love, I have met such wonderful families and clients along my journey and wouldn't trade my experience for anything.
