I am a great caregiver because I actually wanted to become a nurse because I was raised by my grandmother and I watched her be a caregiver to her parents and kids and also raise me as a daughter and I am her granddaughter. My great grandmother had multiple sclerosis when I was growing up as a young child and she lived next door to us. I used to go help my grandma take care of her till she got bedridden and passed. Both of my grandfathers also had Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's I was also a full-time caregiver to one of them as a young adult. What I enjoy most about being a nurse and a caregiver is companionship. Everyone needs somebody especially the elderly it's very lonely when you get older and I love being a nurse/ caregiver to have my client feel that Most beautiful experience of Someone that actually cares.

Because I'm highly confident that I'm the best fit for the position. Especially after all the great things I've heard about the company. I would fit perfectly into the culture there

What attracted me to being a caregiver is a more free-spirited outlook on life within each client I have as well as to create a very luminous environment when around. That's what I like the most about this field and it is the general outline of fellowship.

I started caregiving right after I got out of high school. I have always loved it! I have worked different places as a caregiver and have been doing this for about eight yrs. I have worked at assisted livings, home care agencies and private care. I love helping people ! I'm very patient and compassionate with the people I work with. I am a very reliable worker .

I am a retired Recreation Therapist with my Master degree and 37 years of paid experience working with seniors. I have much training working with Alzheimer’s dementia. I live locally, am very kind and patient, am reliable, honest, dependable and am hard working. I can provide many activities to increase their quality of life; I also have 4 years of experience working in their home, as I am also a Certified Home Health Aide; I assist them with ADL skills, assisting them getting out of bed, getting washed, getting dressed, toiletting, eating, doing light house work, cooking, driving to appts and dispense medications. I worked with the Visiting Angels Caregiver & Home health group out of Knoxville, Tn for about 2 years as a caregiver. I also helped to care for my mother, father, a sister, a brother, an aunt, an uncle, my husband, and my son. I am retired, but I still enjoy working part time as a caregiver. I can help care for your loved ones, when you need to be engaged elsewhere. Or when you just need an occasional break.... And we all need that occasional break sometimes.

In 1999 my father in law had a stroke and it just got worse . I promised him I wouldn't let him go in a nursing home that I would take care of him . so from 1999-2017 I took care of him till he passed. I done everything for him at the end I had to change his dipiers and had to get him through a feeding tube in his stomach. I was with him 24 I lived with him . after he passed a few other people came to me and asked me to care for their loved ones it got around how good I was with my father in law. I took care a lady who had a few heart attacks and couldn't get around good . I cleaned for her made sure she took her medicine daily and checked her good sugar daily. I took her grocery shopping and what ever she needed. I privite sat with all my paients I've never been to school for any of my work .but I love my work I love all my patients they come first no matter what and I promise if you hire me to take care of your loved one you will not be disappointed

When I was young my grandfather was very sick. He had several Strokes over the years. My grandmother had no choice but to work to take care of him. So my family and I had to pull together and take care of him. We had to do things such as changing his adult diapers, bathing him feeding him, transferring him. But most of all showing him the love and compassion that he needed. He was a very proud man. He always took care of everyone else. He didn't like having other people to take care of him. So we did everything humanly possible to make him more comfortable. That's what got me into this line of work. And that's what I think of every time I go to a client's house. I think, if this was papaw... what would I do? This is the only job I've ever really loved. And I suppose I have him to thank for it.
