I am an optimistic energetic person. Always able to cheer up peoples loved ones during difficult times. I am loyal and reliable. I have been working privately on and off for a number of families starting at age 15. I have experience ranging from children with certain disabilities to sick adults. I had health problems that required some help when i was a young child. This is why i am happy and comfortable helping families in need.

I went to nursing school in 2014. I have my associates of science (AAS), and was working in a nursing home as a nurse assistant for 3 years. I really enjoyed with my elderly residents and taking care of their needs. In 2021, I started working for Carelinx and I've really enjoyed helping and meeting new people. I'm currently working to get my bachelor's as a geriatric nurse. One day, I hope to work in a nursing home to help my residents.

I am a very attentive person, full of compassion. I find it mutually rewarding to care to elderly and disabled individuals. It provides a colorful experience as I get to know each individual person. I have been providing services in healthcare for approximately 15 years. I find that it has been a very special time in my life. I try to give encouragement and emotional support to everyone. I am a retired nurse with experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, mental health, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and dementia. I am certified in many areas of nursing and fluent with many medical equipments including oxygen. I am very out going and love to laugh, cook, do laundry(yes, really!), And I take pride in my work.

I am careful, safe, organized and coordinated in transporting clients for their needs whether it is for picking up medications, getting them to and from their appointments, filling out forms, helping with their shopping, all personal care service for their daily living for and anytime they want some simple conversation and just not be alone. To give and share with clients, one must be compassionate and patient and have an understanding that those needing care would like for the caregiver to understand their needs. There happens to be an advantage to being a caregiver that can put themselves in the shoes and situation of those with the need. My joy is realized when the needs are filled and the cared for people are grateful and thankful. I want to give the care and experience the joy often. I have experienced this joy with my parents as I cared for them. Currently I am a part-time caregiver for various clients providing them all the assistance they may need. Professional and courteous, always on time. Administering medication and food through a gastric tube. Bathing and attending to other personal hygiene and grooming needs. Food preparation and feeding client, according to strict dietary requirements and procedures Cleaning and light housekeeping (client's laundry, dishwashing, cleaning spaces used by client and caregivers, cleaning therapy equipment) Assisting with therapies (cognitive, speech, occupational) and range-of-motion exercises, including manual transfers to and from bed to assist client with weight-bearing and balance exercises. General companionship and interaction with client (i.e. reading books, cognitive therapies). Driving client to and from appointments and activities in a client-provided wheelchair accessible van.

I work as a caregiver for almost 16 years and I do have compassion for an individual in need. Regardless of what color, status, culture, or situation. I like to help and what I enjoy most as a caregiver is when I see my client happy of what I do for them. My personal achievement for my job is making sure the client is safe and comfortable.

Being a caregiver truly isn't for everyone, as for me I have to say I love what I do! I am very compassionate and caregiving has truly been a job that allows me to just simply be ME. I have worked in different personal care capacities for about five years now. I am an individual who enjoys providing exceptional care to ALL and believe this job has enabled me to bring a positive change into the lives of my clients.

I have a good personality, I'm outgoing most importantly I love being a caregiver. I love taking care of people and being able to bring a smile to their face and build a strong connection. I've happily been doing this for 10 years.

Since I was a little girl I've felt I had a calling to care for others and help them feel better. It's been a life long passion to pursue my education in Nursing. I have a heart of gold, and am extremely compassionate, and empathetic. I do my absolute best to treat others as I would like to be treated. To care for anothers as if it were me, with kindness, respect, and understanding. Seeing a smile on someone's face absolutely fills my heart with joy. I've babysat since I was 10 years of age. I volunteered at a local hospital during High School in the Obstetrics Department, and Operating Room. I also went to Nursing Camp at Houston Baptist University. I stood in on 3 different surgeries, one of which I later had myself. I was a Girl Scout until 21 years of age, and a Camp Counselor and Nurse during the summer after my senior year of High School. I then went on the become a CNA, a Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. I plan to further my education in Nursing. I look forward to providing the best care possible to every client I cross paths with professionally in the future.
