I believe in lifting one another up when trials and tribulations arrives, because you just will never know that you will be the on sent by our God to uplift your brother or sister up in that very present time ! I have been in the medical field for 15 years now, I knew when I was a little girl I would in some way help people out. I use to take up for the disable kids while in school and I use to help the elders with taking their grocery bags in the house , help them walk if they had diffculty walking and etc . I enjoy putting a smile on the patient's face and I enjoy listing to their stories when they were growing up if they are able to talk with me ! I am very proud to have accomplish medical school and working in a field that care for people !

I am very well suited for the Field of Care Giving. I am a CNA. I am compassionate. I care very much about my Client's situation in life and want to do my best to help them cope and endure with their various health concerns. Also, I have more than 20 years in the care of others with various Ailments. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I can surely see and feel how special grandparents and Elderly really are. I love the warmth of smiles, the hugs, and the sincere gratitude that's shared. I love just being a trustworthy companion to the most vulnerable. It's really heartfelt.

Hello my name is Demeteries Hawkins. I've been a Patient Care Assistant for over 20 years. Growing up being the oldest of 6 siblings I had to be the caregiver due to my mother working long hours as a nurse. In my adult life I've had many jobs but no fulfillment until I started caring for others. I found my purpose and calling. I truly enjoy/ love being a caregiver it brings so much joy and self gratification. My mother played a big part of why I love being a caregiver. seeing the love, she gave, and the return love played a big roll. It feels good to know that I have gained a client trust as well as the assurance that I will take care of them. To see them smile or just help them through a rough day knowing that they can count on me is a great reward. I've had a client I had just started with ask me, is this just a job or do you care? I care about what I do. This is one of the biggest questions that a client or family member has when looking for a caregiver. Staying positive, going beyond the call of duty, compassionate, caring, outgoing, patience, etc. To have the opportunity to care for your loved one or self would be a privilege and a blessing.
