I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. I love being able to be of help to others and knowing that i made a difference in someone's life at the end of the day.

I am very passionate about care giving. I began taking care of my wheel chair bound grandfather when I was 12 until he passed away in 2015. I have been caring for the elderly ever since. I have over 20 years caregiving experience. 16 years of memory care experience and 14 years of home health experience. I am CNA as well as BLS certified.

My personality traits that I'm naturally a caring person and have compassion for others. I love to help others. I have the ability to bring my best qualities into my work environment and use them alongside the skills I have gained training in nurse assistant and medical assistant education. What attract me in been a caregiver is my mother who is a retired nurse for over 20 yrs and my grandmother who always helping people in need at her age of 91 she still does her part in the community. In 2010 my grandfather pass away of myeloma I was his caregiver. All this and more attracted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most about been a caregiver is an opportunity to show love, respect, and dignity to those in need. It is a deeply fulfilling experience that allows me to learn more about myself and grow as an individual. Caring for someone is a powerful and intimate relationship that can bring about a strong connection and bond. When caring for someone, it is important to show love, trust, and understanding. One of my personal achievement that I proud of is becoming an advocate of others who is need.

I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

I've been a certified caregiver since 2013. I decided to pursue a career in this field due to the fact that I cared for my grandfather. I'm passionate about what I do. I not only care for a person I become a companion. I try to make them as comfortable as possible with whatever it is they're battling. I thoroughly enjoy making them feel and look good. They're happiness and well being is always a priority!

I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy getting familiar with patients and accommodating their special health needs. Spending one on one time with my patients and knowing that they trust me enough to care for them, especially in the comfort of their homes. I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. As well as formal education and extensive training CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, Patient Care Technician, Certified Phlebotomy and EKG Technician. Learning new skills and take continuing education to do my job well.
