I am a very attentive person, full of compassion. I find it mutually rewarding to care to elderly and disabled individuals. It provides a colorful experience as I get to know each individual person. I have been providing services in healthcare for approximately 15 years. I find that it has been a very special time in my life. I try to give encouragement and emotional support to everyone. Since I was a young girl, whether it be for my loved ones or the underprivileged, I have always had an innate concern for those in need. My inherent compassion for the livelihood challenges of others has developmentally led me to pursue an educational life-long career as a guidance counselor and health-care provider. What I have learned in my experience, when caring for any individual, is that each person's needs are distinct and should not be identified as like any other individual. When an individual is challenged in any capacity, demonstrating you care in getting to know them as a person, their strengths and limitations with personable kindness, compassion, and patience, can make all the difference to the individual and the family members who depend on you as an extension of themselves. Sometimes a simple smile can make a person feel more relaxed and willing to work with you as a caregiver to aid them with their inability of managing their own lives on their own. I have worked with patients with amputations, post-partum care, traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. My medical certifications include Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant and Patient Care Technician. I am currently seeking short term jobs, part time and am open to overnights. Being a caregiver truly isn't for everyone, as for me I have to say I love what I do! I am very compassionate and caregiving has truly been a job that allows me to just simply be ME. I have worked in different personal care capacities for about five years now. I am an individual who enjoys providing exceptional care to ALL and believe this job has enabled me to bring a positive change into the lives of my clients.

Since I was a little girl I've felt I had a calling to care for others and help them feel better. It's been a life long passion to pursue my education in Nursing. I have a heart of gold, and am extremely compassionate, and empathetic. I do my absolute best to treat others as I would like to be treated. To care for anothers as if it were me, with kindness, respect, and understanding. Seeing a smile on someone's face absolutely fills my heart with joy. I've babysat since I was 10 years of age. I volunteered at a local hospital during High School in the Obstetrics Department, and Operating Room. I also went to Nursing Camp at Houston Baptist University. I stood in on 3 different surgeries, one of which I later had myself. I was a Girl Scout until 21 years of age, and a Camp Counselor and Nurse during the summer after my senior year of High School. I then went on the become a CNA, a Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. I plan to further my education in Nursing. I look forward to providing the best care possible to every client I cross paths with professionally in the future.

I have a good personality, I'm outgoing most importantly I love being a caregiver. I love taking care of people and being able to bring a smile to their face and build a strong connection. I've happily been doing this for 10 years.
