Hello my name is Alexis I became a CNA in 2014 in Ohio where my mothers family resides. I then moved back home where my family lives which is in Montana and I started working as a certified nursing assistant about four hours away in Minot North Dakota there I helped an RN who owned her own home healthcare company and was responsible for up to 6 to 8 patients daily by myself providing all cares and taking care of the cooking the feeding and transportations . I then came to Austin Texas and became a field specialist for BrightStar Care which just means I went to multiple different patients homes I did trainings with other aids and skills as well as just saw multiple different clients in 2018 they decided to bring me into the office that is where I became a senior lead client care manager over the course of four years . I have Attended CHCP and there I received my medical coding and billing certification and last month I graduated with my associates degree in medical health and administrative sciences. I am currently in my bachelor's program and I'm wanting to get back to caregiving to remember why we do what we do when I graduate with my bachelors and start working in a position where hopefully one day I hope to make real change to our healthcare system.
