I feel it's very important to help keep ones dignity along with self confidence. I try to treat others the way I would like my loved ones treated. I'm patient, caring, compassionate, punctual, honest, detailed oriented, well groomed, clean, reliable. I enjoy keeping a client active as long as it is safe. I have served people in the community & through religious callings. I've envolved my children when they were young so they'd be comfortable serving others as well. I became a caregiver because I need to work and I want to enjoy working. I feel I have contributed in helping many enjoy life no matter the circumstances.

I i started that kind of job when my mom have strokes two time n it's really bad.n only me not work that time.i move take care my mom cleaning take her shower cook n cleaning take her outside feat her.turn her every time excercise her.change her diaper.for 5yrs then she pass away,then i take care my dad do the same thing to my dad for 3 years my dad pass away.for that moment i like to do the same thing to everyone they need help.everytime when you I m do the other people i click to my mine my parents n i need to do the same thing i feel that my mom n my dad i have more love respect n treat them good n make them happy.that y i like to do that kind of job the love that have.to my parents i need to share other people.

Have been a CNA for about 6 years now. I initially wanted to be a nurse, but being a D1 student-athlete at Weber State, the clinical hours of nursing and the demands of softball did not work . I love relationship building and companionship as a CNA, that is what makes it all worth it. I recently received my B.S in Healthcare Service Administration and am pursuing a dual master's degree of healthcare and business administration.

I have been a caregiver for almost 25 years. I was a member of a religious congregation for 23 years. Our main mission is to care for the Elderly in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities own by the Congregation. Caring for the Elderly and the sick becomes second nature to me because in my culture (Samoan) it is a blessing to be able to care for our own elderly parents. I love doing the same to others. Last year, my dad was very sick and couldn't walk. I decided to leave the Congregation to care for him who is now able to carry out ADLs by himself, praise God!! I must say, being a caregiver gives me special satisfaction and fulfillment. It is life giving, making other people's lives better. I became a Caregiver because I was born to help others that have special needs. I am the type of person that needs to be doing good for someone else all the time. Being a Caregiver helps me to be a better person and to grow & learn more in life. You never know when a little young full of energy hand or a big old tired hand is going to teach you just with a little hand shake. I'm all about growing as a person and helping others is my passion.
