My name is Stacy. I have about 20 years of health care experience as a CNA, home health aide, patient care assistant, resident assistant, and my last adventure was as an RN with a hospice organization in Florida. My passion is caring for others. Even as a young girl, I was very attentive toward others needs. I have always put my heart in my work and cared for my patients and clientele, as if they were family. I am very considerate and respectful of others things, personal spaces, likes and dislikes. I easily adapt to personal preferences, as I understand that we all have them. My job is to assist one, to complete their daily activities, as if they were able to do it themself. I enjoy being an uplifting and fun individual. I am a lover of the outdoors, so if one may enjoy trips outdoors, I am more than willing to accomadate. I enjoy bringing a smile to someone's face and a little light into their darkness. I love animals as well, so light animal care is fine with me as well. I am very organized and like to keep my spaces neat and clean. I am very hygiene and health oriented, as well as knowledgeable on preventing the spread of infection. Please know that I have chosen not to vaccinate for COVID 19 at this time, for personal, health and religious reasons. I can make a promise to always use my best hygiene and infection prevention practices, while caring for your loved one and in my own personal life, to assure that all of our risks are reduced. I have been a care provider for 27 years. I have plenty of experience in many areas of caregiving.

I have been a certified nurse assistant for almost 8 years and I love it. I never dread work and I always find myself smiling. I love caring for people and having them look at me with trust. I have 2 beautiful children who count on only me and they are also proud of what I do.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am a very homely down to earth type person. Very patient and hardworking. I a care a lot about other people. Especially our elderly family members, because.. hey they took care someone their self once. I think people deserve the best of attention and care because in improves their quality of life and they get to stay in their comfort zone. I love to spend time with elderly people and listen to what they have to say. It allows be to be able to make sure that I know they are treated like human beings and that all of their needs are taken care of. My 2 personal achievements that I have completed in home health so far was staying with 2 people for many years each until the passed away. They became my best friends and then family.

I always grew up helping my grandfather with his mobility, he had MS, I have always wanted to lend a hand and will always want to help those in need. I never want anyone out there to feel lonely, or helpless. I will be like another family member to someone I am caring for because I give their care from my heart.

I became a caregiver when I seen my grandmother go through stage four lung cancer. I seen the way she was treated by her caregivers and the joy they brought to her last days, it made me so happy inside to see that someone cared about her as much as I did. That made me realize how much I wanted to do that for someone and their loved ones. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and it makes me a better caregiver for the fact that I see my patients as my child, for the fact they cannot do for themself. I strive to treat my patients as if everyday was the last and try to make it the best it could possibly be. I'm personally proud of myself for the determination I have. I set my mind to something and I do it. I am a very dependable person because I understand that my patients need me along with their family. I enjoy spending time with my patients and keeping them happy. I'm a very open and loving person, I have always been known for being honest and conplient with my patients wishes and family's concerns. I have had a lot of caregiving experience from my grandmother to my brother who has Down syndrome and isn't capable of caring for himself. I also took care of a man who had cerebral palsy and congested heart failure along with several other things. I cared for him for years until his family moved him out too live with them. I was in charge of everything for him I was there everyday for a year until they hired a part time caregiver. Then I was there everyday but Saturday and Sunday, I fed him every meal and bathed him everyday. I was with him from when he woke up till he was in bed to go to sleep, I gave him all of my attention 24/7. I treated him as if he was my own and mothered him which is my best trait.

What makes me a great care giver is that I treat my patients with more care and dignity than most. I am 57 and am single with no children so I am able to devote more to my care giving without the interruptions that come with most families. I got in to care giving because I feel the need to repay the elder communities for the life they have provided us. If I am chosen to take care of your parents or any other part of your family it will be done with the utmost dignity and respect that they deserve.
