I have over 15 years of experience providing reliable and compassionate care in both an Adult Family Home and in private home settings. I am committed to providing quality care while focusing on a person's emotional well being, understanding the importance of listening to, talking to and providing emotional support to clients.

I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and two minors in human development and sociology. Since then I have been working for a residential care agency with adult family homes and single individual apartments. I began as a caregiver and moved up to a site supervisor and eventually an area supervisor. As an area supervisor I manage eight special needs clients and 25 staffing caregivers. I am looking to change my job and do private caregiving as it will be closer to my home. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I have a vast array of experience with many types of medical diagnoses and special needs. My name is sulayman hydara, I moved to Washington state August 2001 from newyork ,I came here to go to school To become a nurse ,but due to financial problem I have to quit and I become a cna ,I work in many nursing home and cute care setting ,I love working in health care ,because I llike helping people and make difference in their life ,assisted them to become independent,I love pets animals except snake .I still don't give up on my education may be one day I will become a nurse .

I feel I am a great caregiver because I am very caring, I love to help people with anything they need help with, I also love to just listen to people if they need to talk. I feel that because I was raised by my grandparents I got taught a lot about how to work with the elderly. I am currently in school at Centennial Job Corps completeing the CNA program. On my off time from school I am at home in Sultan, WA caring for my grandfather. I would like to take the skill I learned and put them to use in a Nursing facility, or where ever I am needed.

I start to work as a care giver in 1999, and I was able to do a good job, because I like to treat elderly with respect and dignity, and do my best to meet their needs, and their families, so I become a provider on my own AFH, and now I am proud of being a CNA, able to care for all kind of needs, including hospice care.-

I became a caregiver to be able to take care of my mother. She had already had 5 surgeries before my 14th birthday. I wanted to be able to take care of her the right way. I love being a caregiver because i get to provide best care at a time when people are not at there best, plus I get to her all the great stories and meet all different type of people. Well i went to school to become a medical assistant to better my knowledge on how to properly take care of people. Then i graduated culinary arts school. I took both of the fields so that I can have the full medical and nutritional knowledge on how to take care of my client. I am a 30yr old woman that has been taking care of my mother since i was 11yrs old. I am free spirit that loves to spend time with all types of people.

I truly believe to be a good caregiver you need to know what needs to be done. I have the energy, the capability, and the drive to take action. I make it a priority to always be aware of the physical and emotional needs of my clients that are in my care, I try to take notice and be observant when something is \"off,\" and not to ignore a problem or unhealthy changes happening with the client, and give up until we figure out how to address the problem. I believe our elders need caregivers with these traits, because sometimes our clients can't clearly communicate themselves, or they simply don't know what's wrong. As a caregiver I need to possess the courage and tenacity to make sure my client receives the best of care and always include the family and physicians and whoever else is part of the care team.
