Hey there, My name is Melody DeGrave and I live in Green Bay. I am currently a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN. I previously worked as a CNA for 7 years in Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Rehab facilities and Disabled homes. I have been a nurse for 5 years at Aurora Healthcare working as a float nurse in OB/GYN, behavioral health, pediatrics, family practice and internal medicine. I recently started a new position with St Elizabeth hospital in the heart and lung unit. I previously took care of a paraplegic man in his home for 3 years with a hoyer lift. I would go to his home every morning before work and give him a shower/ get him ready for the day and give him any meds or apply any topicals he may have needed. I loved doing this, I am capable and I am more than willing to help where help is needed. I currently work Monday-Thursday 830:430. I would be willing to help any times outside of those hours. Hello! I started caregiving a year and a half ago after leaving school. Initially it was meant to be an in between job while I figured out what I wanted to do, but very quickly became my passion. I never felt like I was really talented with much before, but caregiving and medication passing feels like a calling to me, something I didn't expect to be good at but just pulled me in. I'm going for my CNA license this summer to open me up to a variety of healthcare jobs. I would love to help you or a loved one!

I've been caregiving for 7 years now, I started off helping my grandma with daily tasks. By helping her really interests me in helping others, And ever sense I've been doing just that. I am now a certified nurses assistant, I wish to continue in helping others and learning more about the Field that I love.

I have always been a caregiver. I am the oldest of 3 and my mothers best friend has 2 girls so I had to keep an eye on them all!! Now I am a mother myself to 2 beautiful girls. I am a great listener and can handle things when they get a little hairy. I remain calm in an emergency and can think logically and quickly in the time of need. I love helping people. I most recently have been working with adults with mental and physical disabilities. I had been at that company for 16 years!!

I worked as a CNA for 16 yrs (3 years as a PCW) until I went back to school for my associates in Medical Administration. I went into the field as I love taking care of others. I find it to be very rewarding, like no other career. Helping others with daily life skills, no matter what it is, brings joy to my life. Knowing I make a difference feels good. I am very professional as I have worked in the field for such a long time. I am sensitive to a person's needs as well. It is very important to me to that the client/patient is taken care of as well. At some point in our lives we all will require help. It is so important that we remember this as we care for another in need. I am looking to work the overnight shift 2-3 nights per week or 5-6 shifts in a 2-week pay period. I am available to work between 7p-9a. I am also willing to work longer shifts up to 15 hours per shift. I would like to stay around 30 per week as I am enrolled in an online Medical Transcription course presently.

I've always had a very outgoing exciting personality that I bring with my clients. I have a special needs child and I had to find unique ways to entertain her, different ways to get up up and moving around, dressed. Whatever I am faced with I am able to come up with ways to satisfy each unique client.

I am a very caring and compassionate person. I love making people feel valued and respected. All to often family members leave their loved ones in a nursing home and never look back. I feel it important to spend your last year's of life 2ith a purpose and value. I specialize in hospice care and I have training in all spectrums of care from mild to severe. I have dementia training. My primary goal is to leave a person feeling value and appreciation. I always love to hear someone's life story I feel they become part of me and my hope is they can live on through me in some way.

Hello! I'm Amber! I'm 38 years young and have 2 boys my oldest is 16 and my youngest is my special guardian angel. My inspiration to be a caregiver was my family. At the age of 38 my dad had the Widow Maker heart attack. At that point, not knowing if my dad was going to survive is when I realized being in the medical field is where I was meant to be. After my dad got better, my grandma started showing signs of Alzheimer's and Dementia. A very short time later she passed. This was a very difficult time but it was also when being a caregiver made the most sense. In 2016 I attended Fox Valley Technical College and started CNA classes. Along with my CNA I also have all of my CBRF certifications and medication administration. As of January 2022 I'm back at FVTC to further my medical career studying for my Certified Medical Assistant and in the summer I'll be adding EMT-Basic as well! I am truly blessed to have my amazing fiance and my family as my support system and personal cheer squad! I love what I do and I look forward to the next chapter in the book of Me!
