Personality traits: I try to put myself in the other person's shoes. I am a person of the highest integrity and dress in a professional manner. I know how to balance empathy and caring in such a way that as I care for the body, the mind and soul feels cared for as well giving a sense of comfort in knowing everything's going to be alright and they feel safe and secure. The thing that attracted me to being a care giver is, I like to "Help" people. I'm interested in the wisdom an elderly person has. I enjoy being a caregiver because helping others puts a smile on their face knowing they are safe and secure in my care at maybe their most vulnerable state. One personal achievement I am proud of is being excepted into the 2019 Strathmore's Worldwide Who's Who in my occupation as a Health Care provider. I have 15 years prior experience as a NA11. I've worked in agencies with Home Health and Hospice and in a skilled nursing facility. I have experience with every aspect that it takes to care for your loved one with over 20yrs. In all. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I listen to their needs not my agenda and I love what I do.
Nursing is the only job I have ever had. Caregiving is my calling . I have worked in several different nursing arenas but hands on caregiving is my passion. Agency work has afforded me the opportunity to work with patients from the cradle to hospice and for that experience I am grateful. My patients become my family. I am willing to work as a companion/CNA.
It's tough to nail down a single reason why I decided to become a CNA. It started as a child when I watched my mom working as a nurse. I saw her build relationships with her patients and do whatever she could to make them feel comfortable. As an adult, nursing speaks to me because of the rewarding work that challenges me while also giving me stable work opportunities. I want to continue learning and growing in the field, and being a CNA gives me chances to advance and specialize, so I can continue challenging myself while ensuring my patients get the best care possible.

Reason why I became a caregiver to give back. I love making people smile . When I do my job... I do it well ! When I leave the Consumer home knowing they have a smile on there face & comfortable NOT TO MENTION SAFE! I know I did something good & Positive I have worked my way to become a SIC ( supervisor) community coordinator. I over see 6/7 caregivers & 25-30 clients. Thank you for you time . Have a blessed day! I can work afternoons 4p-9p every other weekend & PRN .
I love providing home care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes my soul smile inside out, this has been something that my mother did as well as her mother. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. My personal achievement is the mindfulness of it all. I'm very loving and kind the youngest of four, very outgoing but grounded I'm that person that holds the door, pay for a person bill if they just don't have enough.
To have a career that makes a difference in peoples lives. Meeting and interacting with individuals that you sometimes normally would not get the chance to. While working at a assisted living facility I performed CPR on an elderly woman who was choking during dinner. Afterwards she told me how thankful she was and her family wrote a letter stating how grateful they were. The company also expressed their gratitude for what I'd done. I am an understanding, kind, and fair person who does not mind helping people from different cultures and back rounds .That's just how I was raised.
