Growing up, I was best friends with someone who has Autism. I was the only person she wanted to see when she was having a bad day. Her love for me sparked my interest in the Caregiving field. I am still in contact with her and her family to this day. I have worked in a day program for adults with IDD for a little over 2 years. This past year I worked in a residential facility for adults with IDD. Both opportunities were extremely rewarding and allowed me to gain more experience in this field. I am still new to the home caregiving world but I am eager to become more experienced! I am a very dedicated and caring individual. I can't wait to start lending a helping hand!

It's hard to talk about ourselves but I'll give it a try, I was introduced to caregiving by a family member since that day I went and got my self in school to get my cna certification later on I also received my dsp certification. This career is very rewarding for me, helping people and providing support to the people that needed the most is what I enjoy doing the most. I personally like watching movies, going on walks, and cooking.

I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. I am willing to commute for full-time employment. I have great references and will be happy to submit them upon request.

I love being around people and all my life I've taken care of family members and when I do caregiving, I care for them like they are my own family. I am very friendly, love to cook and just anything needed to be done. Family is everything to me and when you are in my care, you're family and I will make sure you are taken care of well. I have been a caregiver for ten years. I love pampering my clients with facials, manicures, pedicures, foot massages, exercises and artwork projects. We moved up here from Southern California because my dad had cancer and asked us to move closer. We, my husband and I, saw him through his end of life process, then we were here for my mom.
