I became a caregiver before I was 18 when my grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer. I care for him until his death. After High School my first job was as a nurse aide because I knew then that I wanted to help people not by administering medication but by letting them know that someone was there for them and I will help in any way I could. I now have a small Home Care Agency (CORRI CARES HOMECARE) in which I go to the home to take care of elderly or disabled individuals who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. I have worked in many areas such as long-term care, Hospitals, memory units, rehabilitation, emergency room and home health. I don't just provide services, I build relationships with my clients.

I feel very passionate about helping others in their own environment .I feel as if I can give a gift ;a gift to others who want to stay in their own home. And , I want them to feel safe with doing so. I enjoy providing care to people in need.

I have been caring and compassionate my whole life, I've always felt compelled to help anyone that needed assisting in any fashion. The enjoyment that I get most out of doing this, is knowing that I may somehow in some small way be contributing to making a difference in someone's life at a time when they need it most. Becoming certified as a nursing assistant, is what I'm very proud of. Because not only do I get to do what I love, but knowing that I have been properly trained in doing so gives me a greater joy.
