I have had my CNA for 13yrs i am currently a phlebotomist at grace clinic i have my CPR and i am looking for some extra hrs

I helped care for my grandfather from the time my grandmother passed and started off with light duties, such as chaffeuring him around, running errands, preparing meals, and helping him get undressed and in bed. Over the course of my care, my duties expanded to helping with medication, scheduling appointments, transferring from bed to wheelchair, and showering/bathing. I am a very caring and loving person and find it easy to get along with anyone I meet. I pride myself in always seeing the best in people and trying to understand an individual's point of view. Since I was a young boy, I cared deeply about the well-being of others and making people feel comfortable. I love connecting with people and learning and sharing their interests. I'm proud to say that my grandfather lived to be 84 and enjoyed a comfortable six years under my care when the doctors believed he would quickly follow his wife.

I'm a good listener and I know how lonely it can be when you are alone, with family away or working and you don't feel very assured of getting up and around,I would like to help you feel more assured that you can have assistance. I enjoy being around older people that have stories of what seems like ages past and those days that maybe the younger generation doesn't relate to. I like to help ease your mind with laundry, light housekeeping,run errands,sit and keep you company. I don't mind taking temporary assignments, maybe there's something coming up that you need help or something unexpected has happened and you find yourself needing some help.

I believe being very patient and compassionate with a big loving heart has an impact on my ability to be a wonderful caregiver to patients. My attraction to being a caregiver has to be the bond you build with patients and being able to provide someone they can trust and confide in. I love being a caregiver because I'm able to give back to people by helping them when they need it. Personal achievement I am proud of would have to be being a mom.

Hi my names Desilee, I am 25, I really love and enjoy what I do, I am skilled with plenty and have had a lot of different experience in this line of work. I do bed care, incontinence care, bathing, grocery shopping, taking my clients to and from appointments, meal prep, cleaning (laundry, dusting, mopping, dishes, vacuuming, organizing, etc) & pet care. I plan to get my LVN at south plains college soon & eventually specialize in geriatrics as an RN.

I am a mother of two daughters. I am also a full time student at South Plains College. I have been working with individuals for over 5 years and I must say that this field is my calling in life, and the reason why I am furthering my education in nursing. I enjoy helping people who are unable to do for themselves. I strive to make each individual feel respected and comfortable as much as possible.
