I have been a caregiver for more than 15 years. I am very reliable and dependable. I truly enjoy coming to work everyday and getting to put smiles on my clients faces even when they are having a hard day.

I am 30 years old. I've always loved taking care of any and everybody. I feel that you create a bond with your clients and they should be treated just like you would treat your own family members.

I have 2 years of experience being a caregiver. I was drawn to this job as a younger teenager because I wanted to get my foot in the door of the healthcare community. And I enjoy it because I like helping people.

I first became a caregiver when my mother was sick with Lymphoma. I love to cook and clean and have a heart for helping people in need, so caregiving became the perfect job for me. I am patient and understanding and take great pride in encouraging and helping people reach their potential for a more comfortable day to day living. I also have experience working with clients with cognitive disabilities and other mental health illness. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and work full time as a Laboratory Scientist running diagnostics testing for patients. I am a mother of 5 children, 19-32. All are grown & successful young adults. I made homemade meals everyday for the children, including meatloaf, mash potatoes, green beans, Next day I would make salmon rice & Brussel sprouts, next day grilled chicken baked potatoes, corn or grilled carrots ~ my kids never ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or Kraft macaroni & cheese, they all ski, snowboard, played lacrosse, took gymnastics, dance lessons, soccer, basketball, volleyball and I drove them to all their events. I love people children, and dogs, we have 2 Labradors 65 pounds each, a Mastidor (200) pound and a 9 pound chihuahua, my husband is my life, I have been his full time care giver since last November when he had multiple strokes, was in ICU FOR almost 3 months under forced sedation, ending in brain surgery, and now has a fractured L1 from falling out of bed while he was in the hospital. Just found last week on 8/8~ I am his full time caregiver 24/7. I am up all hours of the night making sure he does not hurt himself going to the bathroom, making 2 am snacks etc, he does walk, talk and take care of his personal hygiene. He does get confused, frustrated at times when his thoughts do not come together. I love him more than life!!

Nursing as an RN for 17 years. Had several back surgeries and retired in 2012 and now wish to return to work as a senior care provider. My nursing specialty was in geriatrics the elderly. Enjoy being around seniors listening to their stories and helping them with their personal care and their home cleaning needs. Willing to work weekdays weekends and holidays. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record as well as a clean background check, and am willing to transport clients to doctor appointments and grocery store needs. Hello. I'm Lisa. I've been working as an in home care giver for 10 years. I love working with people and seeing the smiles on their faces when I'm there to help. I first started doing home care through Home Choice Senior Care, which then became Brightstar, in Iowa. After that I went self employed. I have pretty much done everything that could be needed for clients. Cleaning, meal prep, transfers, bathing, bed baths, dressing, feeding, medication reminders, errands or transporting to appointments, even just sitting and visiting or playing card games. Whatever the client needed or wanted. I was trained in CPR through BrightStarCare. They also trained us on various other needs for the elderly.
