Hello, my name is Veronica Burke, and I am a mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a preschool teacher since 2002 till now and I love what I do. I love being a preschool teacher because, when my little people come to me begging of the school year with crying, faces, being scared, and nervures and curious at the same time, I couldn't help it but give them all the love, care, and attention that they need because I believe you can't learn in unwanted or unsafe environment. Throughout the months of school, I got to know their strength and weaknesses. By May, they are on their way to kindergarten. The question that I always ask myself is, did I give them the tools they need for this big moment of their lives. My answer is always yes. Before CORVID I was working weekends and some evening's hours taking care of elderlies by assisting them daily activities such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, bathing, assist in toileting and sometimes transportation to appointments or grocery. I do file a report of any accident or up normal event that happened while am on duty. Working with younger children and older adult has been very interesting moment of my life and I love it.

Hi! I've been an RN for 26 yrs. I LOVE caring for others and all that comes with being a nurse. I'm not necessarily looking for high-tech, intensive nursing right now. I'm more interested in getting out of the house to be of use to someone who needs some assistance at home or out in the community. Our 3 sons are grown and out on their own now. I've been home for a couple years, caring for my husband who is a traumatic brain injury survivor, so if you need help, I'll RUN out the door. I have a great sense of humor, am joyful and have a deep sense of faith. I'm loyal, compassionate, detail-oriented, punctual, honest and hard-working. I love pets, crafting in my free time and New England Patriots fan! I love to organize and then reorganize as a hobby. I became a Caregiver after I attended college as a Human Services student. I knew I always wanted to provide care to others and my time at college showed me I needed to pursue another direction other than college. I want to help others by providing one on one care and to enable them to be as independent as they possibly can at the same time. When I can assist people by cooking, cleaning or encouraging people it warms my heart to be able to do so. I enjoy helping others. I have professional and personal cleaning and caregiving experience.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. I became a caregiver because I like to help people out to stay independent as long as possible. Seeing my clients and there families happy with my services. I am proud that I have graduated from high school and that I can provide such a service with just that high school diploma and a diploma from a technical school for Health Careers. I am a single parent of wonderful twin daughters that that just recently graduated from High School and I consider myself very lucky.
