I have dedicated my life to helping others. My background includes providing care to seniors with limited mobility, terminal illnesses ,strokes, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. In these roles, I consistently team with family members, case managers, hospice and assisted living staff to create an environment conducive to the seniors' physical and mental health. I use a person-centered approach. Learning more about seniors and their needs is important, therefore, I frequently attend pertinent training and classes. I am: FULLY VACCINATED and boosted from COVID 19, certified in CPR and First Aid. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to work part time or full time . I am available Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 8:00pm. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a happy, caring person who finds spending time with the elderly is so rewarding for both myself, and the client alone. I have physical limitations that keep me from some duties, but I do what I can quickly, efficiently, and with compassion.

I have an easy going personality. I enjoy the outdoors and love to explore as often as I can. I started out caregiving for family members and began working professionally a few years ago. I'm still learning all the ways that I can be of help to others. I recently began working as a PSW and have enjoyed being able to work directly with my clients.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CAREGIVER? I have a very upbeat attitude. I am very caring, compassionate, patient and I have a huge heart. I stay professional while I am on the job and I take my role as a caregiver very seriously. I like to know the one I am assisting is comfortable and happy, if they are feeling down, I do what I can to make sure they are having a wonderful day and always have a smile on their face. WHY DID YOU COME A CAREGIVER? I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I grew up in the life of taking care of people. I have watched/helped my mom when she was working in the hospital. I assisted my grandmother in helping others in her community. I have babysat for many friends and family members. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A CAREGIVER? Its not that I like being a caregiver, I LOVE being a caregiver. Knowing I am making a difference in someone's life and helping them with anything/everything they need is the best. My goal is make sure that by the time my shift is over, they are smiling and happy. WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT YOU ARE PROUD OF?? my personal achievement I am very proud of was being told that I had made a big impact on two of the clients I was taking care of. I was informed when they were told I was coming on shift they would start smiling and make sweet comments about how I did my job and well I took care of them. Too me that was the sweetest thing and yet most rewarding part of my job.

My grandmother was on hospice when I was a young girl. I saw how grateful my grandmother was and how much her caregiver touched my Grandmother's life. Ever since I wanted to make a difference and touch the lives of others. I have been a CNA for three years now, and I take pride in taking care of others. I want to make a difference in the life of every patient that I see . I not only want to be there for the patient but for their family too.

I am native to the Willamette valley and have spent the last 7 years practicing in the wellness field. I have worked in a variety of care giving positions and have been drawn to working with seniors at various times. hello, My name is Saraya and I have been working in the healthcare field for the last 5 years as a Cna. Working in healthcare has always been something I have been very compassionate about since highschool, after helping take care of my grandfather for 2 years. After that I knew healthcare was going to be something I spent the rest of my life doing and I have enjoyed it ever since, What I enjoy most about working as a caregiver is the bond I get to build with each of my clients and there family which truly enhances the care they receive as it helps me learn everything they like, don't like and exactly how they like things done and set up, and leaves room for open communication from the client and the family. I worked in the food service for 35 yrs needed to find something different. A friend needed someone to look after her husband after a car accsident worked for him for 2yrs then applied to the state of wa. & became a caregiver for the copes program I have worked for them for 7yrs. The wife &I are moving to toledo,or. in september & need to find work.& I like to work with the elderly.

I've handled medications, ADL's, housekeeping, and strive to create relationships with my clients/family. I got my CNA (expired) when I was 17 in order to begin caring for others and start my experience with the medical field. I hope to finish my Masters in Health Administration at PSU.
