I have dedicated my life to helping others. My background includes providing care to seniors with limited mobility, terminal illnesses ,strokes, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. In these roles, I consistently team with family members, case managers, hospice and assisted living staff to create an environment conducive to the seniors' physical and mental health. I use a person-centered approach. Learning more about seniors and their needs is important, therefore, I frequently attend pertinent training and classes. I am: FULLY VACCINATED and boosted from COVID 19, certified in CPR and First Aid. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to work part time or full time . I have an easy going personality. I enjoy the outdoors and love to explore as often as I can. I started out caregiving for family members and began working professionally a few years ago. I'm still learning all the ways that I can be of help to others. I recently began working as a PSW and have enjoyed being able to work directly with my clients.

My grandmother was on hospice when I was a young girl. I saw how grateful my grandmother was and how much her caregiver touched my Grandmother's life. I am native to the Willamette valley and have spent the last 7 years practicing in the wellness field. I have been in the field of caregiving for many years in various ways. I have done volunteer work for a day program with people with dementia. After that I worked through Senior Services with different individuals and for the 12 yearsI have worked with people with developmental disabilities. I've been a support staff as well as a house manager have helped with toileting, cooking, bathing, grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, and passing medication. I currently work for a company that works with with the elderly and disabled. I currently do all the above as well as as work with catheters and hoyer lifts. I just enjoy working with people.

I am a very up beat out going person that devotes myself to make sure the person or people I am working with know that I am there for them and only for them that they are not a burden to me and that I do not except apologise because I am there to help them I love doing some fun activities if possible and have 5 great children to tell great stories about and love hearing all the stories and experiences

I am detial oriented, i care about everyone around me , i have always loved taking care of others . I love to help. I decided to become a caregiver because i have ways been one to help and take care of someone when they needed it. I rook care of my grandfather for years from age 11-18 and whenever i could between work and my children until he passed away in 2016 and now care for my father on my days off and take care of my two girls when away from work . What do i enjoy most about being a caregiver ? Seeing the amile on someone's face everyday.

I am a very dedicated worker. I never call out and I'm very passionate with helping people. I try my best to go above and beyond to be the best caregiver and employee! When I first started caregiving I didn't think I would like it but I fell in love with it! I think what I liked the most is seeing hope on residents faces to have help through a difficult time. And the greatest achievement would be having the family thank me for helping their mom or dad.

I am a very patient , helpful, passionate , loyal, friendly person. I enjoy caregiving bc I love being there for my elders. if it's just to talk or help with anything needed. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing my resident happy and full of life, doing things they thought they maybe couldn't do anymore or loved doing but need assistance.

I try to be very understanding and patient. I always keep a positive attitude and smile while I'm at work. Growing up I used to take care of my grandmother and other household duties and I just really loved being able to help as much I could. What attracted me to caregiving is my grandmother and my heart. Growing up I always wanted to help people and give as much love to this world I could give. Taking care of her opened my eyes and made me realize this is what I like doing. I like being able to help people when it's needed and being able to have that one on one time. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing my residents happy and being able to spend time with them even if it providing the care I'm grateful I get that time with them. I love being able to sit down and talk about what life used to be like back then for them or flip through scrapbooks that they have and talk about how their day went. My achievement that I'm proud of is graduating high school and moving up in the world!
