I am a great caregiver because I enjoy the job I do. Helping those who can't help themselves makes me feel like what I am doing is making a difference. I enjoy doing the things for my residents that put a smile on their face everyday even if its as small as doing their hair or getting them their favorite snack. I also enjoy doing the big things and making them as comfortable as possible while doing them such as toileting. its also not just a job to me. I became a caregiver because I was witnessing firsthand how individuals needing care we're being treated and I want to step in and help to make sure they were getting the care they deserved.
