I am a retired nurse with experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, mental health, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and dementia. I am certified in many areas of nursing and fluent with many medical equipments including oxygen. I am very out going and love to laugh, cook, do laundry(yes, really!), And I take pride in my work.

I went to nursing school in 2014. I have my degree in Science (AAS), and was working in a nursing home as a nurse assistant for 3 years. I really enjoyed with my elderly residents and taking care of their needs. In 2021, I started working for Carelinx and I've really enjoyed helping and meeting new people. I'm currently working to get my bachelor's as a geriatric nurse. One day, I hope to work in a nursing home to help my residents.

I work as a caregiver for almost 16 years and I do have compassion for an individual in need. Regardless of what color, status, culture, or situation. I like to help and what I enjoy most as a caregiver is when I see my client happy of what I do for them. My personal achievement for my job is making sure the client is safe and comfortable.

Since I was a little girl I've felt I had a calling to care for others and help them feel better. It's been a life long passion to pursue my education in Nursing. I have a heart of gold, and am extremely compassionate, and empathetic. I do my absolute best to treat others as I would like to be treated. To care for anothers as if it were me, with kindness, respect, and understanding. Seeing a smile on someone's face absolutely fills my heart with joy. I've babysat since I was 10 years of age. I volunteered at a local hospital during High School in the Obstetrics Department, and Operating Room. I also went to Nursing Camp at Houston Baptist University. I stood in on 3 different surgeries, one of which I later had myself. I was a Girl Scout until 21 years of age, and a Camp Counselor and Nurse during the summer after my senior year of High School. I then went on the become a CNA, a Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. I plan to further my education in Nursing. I look forward to providing the best care possible to every client I cross paths with professionally in the future.

Hello, I am Diane, I am 29 years old born and raised in South America, I relocated to to the US in 2010 and I've been in the healthcare field since 2013, I chose the field of healthcare because it allows me to care for others in ways that not only make me happy but ways I would want others to care for my self and family members one day when that time comes. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is accomplishing daily goals set for my patients no matter how big or small it may be and conversations are always the best, every personal goal of my patients are a personal goal of mines and completing those goals together makes me feel proud of why I chose this field of work.
