My entire life, people have been drawn to my light, loving energy, compassion and sense of humor. Most often I have heard that my presence speaks volumes, I'm a ray of sunshine and an earth angel. I feel our elders are a treasure and should receive the help and support they deserve. After decades working in a corporate setting I decided to leave and pursue a more heart-centered career. I had been drawn for years to the idea of working with elders and those in hospice and once I started training I knew I had found my life purpose. Regardless of age, I enjoy being a caregiver! I love knowing that I make a difference in peoples lives through my work, volunteering and my 'being of service' way of being. I am a pretty easy going person I have a neutral personality so I get along with pretty much anyone. I have been a cna for over 13 years. I have worked in many different aspects of the field so I know my way around. I'm outgoing and love to encourage independence and being able to help people conquer daily tasks. I enjoy seeing them laugh and joke and have a smile on their face. I am proud that I am able to help them achieve daily goals and keep a smile and laughing and be happy while doing it.

I was told by the staff at Cedar Saini that they appreciated my help while I was there looking after my sister. The staff acknowledged my patience and compassion towards other patients also.
