I've been in the medical field for over 13+ years and I absolutely love it. I started in the medical field right out of High School and I'm currently attending school to receive my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. I want to continue to expand my knowledge and be a great pillar in the Medical Community. I'm extremely skilled with Majority of all Medical Conditions and treat others with respect. I have always been naturally caring. It was in 2010 when I felt the calling. 2011 I went to school to get my CNA license. I took care of my daughter who was undergoing treatment at the time. In 2013 I officially used my license at a local rehab facility. It was hard to leave my patients at the rehab facility who I had became close to and loved. 2015 I started to work at Sierra View where I floated to multiple departments. During that time I gain a better knowledge of how to take care and treat my patients. I and now looking to help a family in need to take care of their love one.

I love being able to help care for people who aren't able to care for themselves fully. I love seeing the faces of my clients when they see me. They are always happy. I'm proud of being a care provider because this job isn't for everyone.

I became a caregiver because my favorite aunt's death traumatized me when I was younger and I felt it was only right to do something bigger about it. With the additional influence of other aunts having careers in the medical field, I decided to strive in the medical field myself and contribute to the better physical, mental, and emotional health of those in need. I am very compassionate, diligent, and fun. Spending quality time with clients on a daily basis and getting to know them really makes me happy because a relationship is developed that most clients don't have to begin with. I just want to make them improve, be happy and healthy.

I have been a caregiver for about 6-7 years and a CNA for about 2. A good friend of mine needed help with a lady who had Alzheimer and I had no experience at all. They say the best way to learn is through doing, and I couldn't agree more. I learned many great traits along my journey as a caregiver. I am a very patient, calm, and giving person. I enjoy helping my patients with activities of daily living and assisting them with any needs they may have like toileting, transportation, medication reminders, etc. Being a caregiver is a very rewarding job. To be able to help someone makes you feel good about yourself, and the relationships you build along the way make it all worth it in the end . I stared as a caregiver, not knowing anything, to now being a Certified Nursing Assistant, to now working on my nursing degree. I love what I do and take it very seriously. I am an honest, hard working, caring and trustworthy.

I am 35 year old mother of 4 and have been caregiving for 6 years. I truly believe that I've found my calling. I've always known that I wanted to be in healthcare but never knew which avenue to persue until I found myself as a caregiver for the first time. I have a love for all people and am by nature, a kind, caring and nurturing soul. My goal as a caregiver is to not only provide physical care duties but to be there as a companion to my patient and their families as well!
