I have worked Acute Care, Memory Care, Radiation Oncology, Private Home Care, Nursing Rehabilitation, Geriatric and I Specialize in Hospice Home Care. . What makes me a great caregiver cuz I'm a people person and I have compassion and I care about how the how they feel. Well I love most about being a caregiver is that I can help and show that I care and that I'm a living person and I give joy and laughter and comfort out of helping others. My mom was a CNA for 40 years before she passed away and I've been volunteering since I was 12 years old so that's what motivates me to be a caregiver. I'm proud of being a mother I'm proud of being a grandmother I'm proud of just being a person as in the community I'm proud of myself of learning going back to school getting my caregiver certificates and getting all my certificates that I have in ADLs patient care helper I'm just proud of me being a person who I am I'm proud like I said being a mother and a grandmother of course and a wife and I'm proud that I took care of my mom my dad and my grandfather before they passed away.

My personality is a very happy person I've always been caring of the elderly community just because I feel like the elderly has no advocates for them! I worked for a nursing home for about three years and as well as private caregiving on the side just because I love elderly patients and taking care of them properly. I spent a lot of time taking care of my loved one for about 5 to 7 years after a stroke and it got me into loving caregiving and anything about the nursing community! I have been told by many of my patients clients and family members especially working in a hospital for 2 1/2 years during Covid I learned a lot about bedside manner and what to say and how to get patients motivated to do things that they need to do for themselves for the better future also helping them in their last stages of life . The very passionate person about medicine and making sure people are happy with their care. I enjoy making my patients laugh over funny things or stupidity or anything that can really bring joy for that time in for that visit even an uncomfortable situations! My personal achievement is to get my registered nursing license by the time I'm 25 it is a current goal of mine and hopefully have fulfill that goal with going back to college! Unfortunately in current times I cannot afford college so taking this extra job on top of my home health job will definitely get me to where I need to go!
