I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15. Ever since I was a little kid, I love to help people. I took Medical School, but I couldn't finish it, because of our financial situation. It started when my Dad, who was my HERO, got a stroke in 1987. Me, my Mom and my sister took care of him until he passed away. As a care giver, I always treat all my clients as my own parents and grandparents. I don't want them to be treated badly. I want them to be treated with love. Being a care giver, I learned a lot from my clients too. I really enjoy all their stories.
