Hello, I am a resident of the Central Valley for over 40 years. I have worked in the private In-Home Health Care since 2013 and a year with Comfort Keepers. I am loyal and trustworthy to my employers, enjoy people, helping others and being a team player. My experience range from; Personal Assistant, Respite, and Hospice care. I enjoy workings as a professional in the In-Home Health Care Industry, I take my job as a caregiver very seriously. I look forward to providing loving care for the next person who needs assistance. In 2005 I spent a little under 6 months in a hospital bed and two years in recovery. I know what's it's like to need assistance with daily tasks . The care I received from one of the many nurses is the reason I do this work. There's nothing I enjoy more then being of service to others. I have 5 years of experience.

I am a reliable and patient person who provides first class care. I have worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people, follow strict rules and procedures and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required. Caregiving has been a rewarding second career. After retiring from the banking industry, my sister who has been an RN for many years inspired me to follow down this path. It is a very rewarding experience, helping people in need and being there for their families.

I am native to San Jose, I am a 3rd generation born in San Jose. I have been in the medical field for 38yrs. 25 yrs just doing home care. Caring for the elderly and being an advocate for them has been in my heart for many years. I have enjoyed working with them and have been blessed to share many of their journeys. I have encountered hundreds of elderly over the years, and have learned much from them. As the years pass, I will continue to serve those who are sick, elderly, or are coming to an end of their own journey. I started as a child development teacher and sense then i know that helping and caring for others would be my filed. I am patient,caring , respectful and I like to listen. I became a caregiver because I wanted to know how to take care of my ailing grandfather. In 2002 I had applied and got into the CNA program at Sun bridge Care facility in Watsonville, CA. I helped my grandmother with my grandpa until he passed than I started working with Sun Bridge in 2003 for a few years. I like to talk, and love to listen to all of those important life lessons and interesting lives they had led. I have learned so much while working as a CNA, I loved it. I have now achieved one of my goals and that is to get into Nursing School, and become a nurse. I always wanted to become a nurse and now I am. I am a mother of 3 and I have so much patience and care to give. I am very careful and have a lot of experience with the elderly. I am currently a Licensed Vocational Nurse and I am seeking a dependable position to apply my nursing knowledge and provide the best possible care to each and every patient.

I have been practicing nursing since 2007 and was able to care for different types of patients with different care needs. I was able to work in Singapore for more than 5 years which made me experience taking care of more diverse clients with different cultures.

Became passionate as a Caregiver by first caring for those close to me in my personal life: my mom, her sister, and the mother of a dear friend. Began caring professionally in 2014 with various agencies in the County of Santa Cruz. My dedication and patience help me to be a great caregiver who works hard at making life easier for those requiring home care. It is my undying belief that all people be treated with kindness, dignity and respect. My [10-year old] background consists of Adult and Senior Care for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, Diabetes, heart disease, ALS, Parkinson's, stroke, epilepsy, developmental disabilities, as well as those recovering from surgery or illness. I am certified as a Companion Care Aide (CCA), as well as hold certification in CPR and First Aid. I have an even-tempered personality which allows me to remain calm and make prudent decisions during a crisis.
