I have been a CNA for about 5 years now and it has always been a passion of mine to become a nurse someday to help those in need much more. Throughout the years working as a CNA I have really come to love helping others and being there for them when they feel helpless and lonely. I have lost patients on the way and when it comes down to it as much as you don't want it to bother you it truly does. I have always had a passion for what I do and when I lose those that I'm helping it does hurt me, but I'm always proud for being there to help them when no one else could.

Hello my name is Denna. I am a 39 year-old mother of three beautiful girls . My passion in life is taking care of others and doing anything I can to make a difference in someone else's life . The last couple years I, cared for My father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , unfortunately it was very aggressive and spread rapidly. After spending more time with my father I realized that although his body may not function, his mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. It was such a beautiful experience and will forever cherish the time I had with him and the memories we shared. Taking care of my father and going through that experience have made me realize how passionate I am about helping others in their time of need. Treating patients with dignity, starts with helping them cope with their mental as well as their physical challenges. I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely. I am passionate about giving back to the older generations and being able to be apart of that journey in their life is such an amazing feeling and experience.

I've been a caregiver for 8 years. I specialize with individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as physical disabilities. I am a host home provider who provides care for individuals in my home. I tend to work with clients who have a higher needs both medically and behaviorally. I treat my clients as part of my family and love to have fun with them in the community. I first became a caregiver as when I was a little girl, my dad ran a very big charity in texas called The Big Texas Toy Run where we would collect toys for children with intellectual disabilities who's family's were showing times of hardship. We then donated proceeds to various organizations. I volunteered there from age 4 - 18 years old.

Hi there, my name is Abby and I have been working in caregiving/healthcare for about 8 years. My mother worked as a CNA her whole life. I would often volunteer in the facilities she worked at, and I started as a CNA myself when I was 16. I have experience in a variety of healthcare settings, from home care to facilities to pharmacies to disability care. I have completed extensive training in Alzheimer's and dementia care, intellectual and developmental disabilities and basic life support and first aid. I have always been passionate about helping people and I love being able to help seniors stay in their homes and maintain their independence. I love caring for and helping people. I became a nurse because I was around nurses a lot growing up. My brother was paralyzed as a teenager and then passed away when I was 15. So shortly after, I started working in the nursing home as a dietary Aide then received my certified nursing assistant, then med Aide then attended college and graduated from nursing school in 2004. I have been an LPN for 17 yrs now and have lots of different experiencesin different fields. I've worked in nursing homes, home health, doctors offices and hospitals. I've worked with newborns all the way to elderly. I specialize in dementia and behavior health.

I have been a CNA of October 1999 and have worked in many places medical fields. I enjoy working with people who need a little TLC. Those who wish to remain at home but just need a small amount of support to achieve this goal.

I became a caregiver to assist my great grandmother and I wanted to do anything in my power to help her stay in her own home. I used this drive to start working for a home health care company and help ones stay in their own homes. Seeing families that are caring for their aging parents and grandparents inspires me to do what I can to not only help my clients but also their families in these trying times.
