My name is Joanna and I am originally from California. I have been caregiving for about 6 years now and love it! I am married and have a small dog named vannie. I love being a caregiver because the thought of knowing I can help someone in their time of need makes me happy.

I have been in the medical field since 1999. I have worked in Homecare, Rehab, Hospital and Office settings. I have specialized in Memory Care, Rehabilitation, Spinal cord injuries and Early Childhood Education. I especially enjoy Homecare settings where I can delivery optimal and comfortable care, companionship and assistance to those whom require/ desire these services. Along with my HHA certification, previous CNA license/ experience I have current BLS, and Drivers License and dependable transportation. I believe everyone has a right to high quality care, and it brings me great joy to provide it.

I am a mother first and foremost. I love helping those who are incapable or who need some assistance with doing for themselves. I have been in the healthcare field going on 12 years and I love it! From the interactions, daily activities, smiling faces I get from patients brightens up my day! I strive for clients to be satisfied highly with the work I've helped them do. It lets me know I'm doing something right!

I am a CNA. I have been a CNA for 24 yrs and have worked in Hospitals, Nursing homes and Home Health. I have also done host home for people with developmental disabilitues. As a Caregiver I am responsible for helping all my patients with their activities of daily living.

Ive been a caregiver for about 5 years and a medication aide for a little over a year. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them where I can!

I have been at this type of work for about 15 years .I love the work , It makes my life more meaningful. To help someone who can not do it without assistance. To make them smile to make their days better. I will treat with the most respect for I to may be here someday.

I worked as a caregiver since 2001 until now, I came from Indonesia, I'm a Christian, I'm a trustworthy person, hardworking lady, compassionate with what I do, passionate with the person I care, honest, dependable, punctual, responsible, etc.

I realize how important it is for our elderly to be able to age in place, I've lost loved ones in nursing homes due to lack of quality care or facilities being understaffed. This led me to Caregiving and wanting to be able to make a difference in the lives of our senior community. Our seniors have so much to give and teach us, I've met so many amazing senior's and love to hear their stories about their lives. I love being a Caregiver and putting a smile on the faces of the person's I care for. Over the years I have worked with several professional Caregiver Agencies as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide with extensive on-going training earning many Certificates, working with Clients ranging from ADL's, to Hospice care and Dementia care. I work for Colorado State CDASS program caring for Quadriplegic persons with extensive training focusing on Catheter care, Wound care, Bowel program, Physical Therapy, Hoyer Lift & Sling, Nutrition & Special diet. I also have extensive knowledge of Diabetes and Epilepsy. I hold a Certificate for Mental Health First Aid.

Veronica Nyarko is a very respectful, professional, well trained and come from humble background, loving, reliable, Patient, good listener, treat all with dignity. What attracted me to be a caregiver was when I took care of my grandfather with prostate cancer before he died. I always enjoyed being a caregiver because I treat people as my family members. I put them in my shoes. I am very proud of myself because of so many lives I have impacted because of me Patient and dignity.
