I have been in the medical field since 1999. I have worked in Homecare, Rehab, Hospital and Office settings. I have specialized in Memory Care, Rehabilitation, Spinal cord injuries and Early Childhood Education. I especially enjoy Homecare settings where I can delivery optimal and comfortable care, companionship and assistance to those whom require/ desire these services. Along with my HHA certification, previous CNA license/ experience I have current BLS, and Drivers License and dependable transportation. I believe everyone has a right to high quality care, and it brings me great joy to provide it.

Hi! My name is Faith Marsicek and I am attending The University of Findlay in the fall. I am excited to start my career as a caregiver! On my days off I enjoy spending time with horses, swimming, and hiking. Currently I'm working to obtain my Professional Association of Therapeutic Riding (P.A.T.H.) certification. I pride myself in being patient, level headed, great at talking through problems, and remembering key details about everyone I get to interact with. I want to be a caregiver because I love spending time with people and helping those around me. Some of my personal achievements include: All-Academic American for my performances in the pool and in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0+ GPA through High School, and working at liberty (no ropes) with my horse.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years and enjoy working with people and being part of their lives. I ran a retirement home as an assisted-living director and ran the dining room and started the Alzheimer's unit. I have been working with home health agencies and also at facilities and enjoy doing activities with the residence and seeing people smiling and laughing because most of them do not have families that come and visit them so basically we are their family. I enjoy being a caregiver and being in their homes because then you get to be one on one with them which makes caregiving more personable and it's a blessing that most of them can stay in their homes. Being a caregiver is not a talent or something that you can be trained on it's mostly what's in your heart and knowing that the elderly need good people to take care of them and One day we are going to be in the position where we will need someone to take care of us so knowing that there are good caregivers out there it just makes it easier on the family to take care of their loved one.
