Hi, I am a mother, grandmother, and I love to care for my family. I started caregiving first for my grandparents. I fell in love with taking care of the ones who can't care for themselves or maybe just need a little help and a lot of companionship.

At work my patients called me "Sunshine". I always have a smile on my face. I enjoy helping people. It's what I've always done. I am the oldest of five sisters and we grew up in an unstable home. I grew up quickly and started taking care of my sisters when I was 9. I'm still helping them. Anyone who knows me, knows that they can depend on me and that I'm trustworthy. I am always helping someone by taking them shopping, taking them to doctors appointments, taking them to pick up prescriptions, or just sitting and visiting because they are lonely. I love to help people accomplish things that they need to get done but can't because they can't drive (due to seizures etc...) or because they need advice or companionship.

I'm a mother of 4 adult children. 1 beautiful granddaughter, and I'm a Minister and I love the Lord with all of my heart, body, and soul and mind... And I'm here to serve you and your family in any ways I can for as long as I can.... I'll give you 110% of me and my work. God bless you!

My greatest skills in health care are making the resident/ patient feel comfortable caring for them. Trust, and caring, and sometimes you have to take period listen to each individual. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother. My family is very close and when my grandmother the glue to our family were Diagnosed with ALZHEIMER'S we all worked together. It when from one thing to another. After her transition I decided to work in health care. I enjoy caring for people. Whatever I can find my hands to do, I do it. With dignity love and respect. While working with ARc of Baldwin County, the Viola House was about to be close down by state because of poor keeping. With the help of good teamwork / people that needed to work and much pray the house became a home to eight mental challenge people within three months. I love what I do.

I'm a good listener and enjoy conversations. I have been a CNA for over 5 years working continuously in geriatric long term care facilities and over a year in an acute care hospital. I'm CPR certified, and state licenced! In over 5 yrs. I have never had anything go before the Nursing board!
