Palliative Care Caregivers in Lee County - 4 caregivers found

After a massive Corporate downsizing, I have changed careers and turned to the Healthcare field. I have over 30 years experience taking care of family and clients, ranging from neonatal, special needs including quadriplegia, to hospice care. The last 20 years have also included dementia/stroke, oxygen, TPN, feeding tubes and post operative care. In addition, I have also been asked by 2 clients to become their personal assistant. This included travel to the grocery store, doctor appointments, downsizing homes, moving packing and unpacking, traveling across country and also property managed my clients home while it was on the market to sell. How can I be of help to you?

I'm a retired nurse with many different areas of experience throughout my medical career. My most favorite experiences have been helping and spending time with geriatrics. I truly enjoy assisting them, sitting and visiting with client, hearing about their stories of their past, or about their family. I'm very respectful, reliable, patient, caring individual. I enjoy cats and dogs. Prefer non smoking.

I became a caregiver for a few reasons but its two reasons that stand out above all. The first of the reasons was to gain some experience in the medical field because my career goal was and is to be a registered nurse. The experience you gather being a caregiver is valuable, immeasurable, and translates to other job that involves caregiving. The second reason is because I really enjoy caring for people. There is no greater pleasure you can receive than the joy of helping someone in need. I am glad to say I have completed my Associates RN degree program. I am not a licensed nurse at this point but that is the next step in the plan. I am a very hardworking honest and loyal person. I consider my personality a great asset because one of the best non-pharmacological medicines is laughter. I like to lighten the mood and am very easy to get along with and work along side.

Hello. I'm Tammy. I am at my best when I have an opportunity to lend a hand to a friend. I also consider most people my friends! I have been in health care for most of my life. As soon as I was old enough, I worked in a skilled care facility. I worked there until I decided to become a mother (to twins) be it a long time ago!
