A very experienced and competent Support Worker, reliable, gentle by nature, patient, understanding and empathetic. As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. Previously worked as a SupportWorker, tried to encourage clients to live an independent life, attended to their personal care, administered medication, and reported to the Program Coordinator. My proudest moments in these jobs is when dealing with difficult clients bt at the end l was able to get them to calm down and take their medication ( that is where my patience was exercised). I became a registered nurse years ago because there was nothing more important to me than caring for people. I have worked as a home health nurse most of my career and so I have lots of experience that can be utilized but the real joy I received was when I was talking, visiting and caring for my patients. I often wished I could stay all day and so if the request is for dressing, bathing, companionship and other needs without a technical skill that is also perfect because my heart has always been with people not my degree.

What i enjoy the most about being a caregiver, is the ability to take care of others who want/need My help and I love being able to provide that help as much as I can give. I want to be able to be able to make a positive impact in others lives. A personal achievement i was and currently am proud about right now is giving birth to my kids, they have been the joy of my life and they continue to be a concurrent source of happiness in my life.
