I'm a down to earth country girl that fell in love with the elderly community. I love to hear stories of things that they experience growing up. Taking care of the elderly is not just a job to me. It's a service from me to give back to them in a since... After all they deserve it. I've been in the healthcare field for a little over 13 years now and I have did both home health work as well as long term care but mainly long term care. Either setting works fine for me.

Assist client with needs: Skin care/wash face; Assist with braces/splints; Hanging clothes; Transfer to/from bed or chair if needed; Clear pathway/remove clutter; Assist with food: chops, grind, prepare, open packages, heat/assemble food, clean meat and service areas, clean utensils, dishes and empty trash. Assist with housekeeping duties: change linens, make bed, hang & retrieve clothing, on-site laundry tasks, tidy clean bathroom, empty trash and incontinence supplies. Other Tasks may include: maintaining safety & keeping areas clean and clear.

I was born with a servant's heart. Taking care of people is what I do and I have always been a "mother hen". I am looking to provide for my family while helping others and maintaining work/life balance.
