Hello! I am a people person who loves meeting new clients and their families. I've been in the profession for many years and so enjoy every minute of it. I've always gotten along with everyone and felt this was my passion or calling. If I'm able to bring some joy, sunshine and reasoning to someone's life, I'm happy.

I've been a CNA since 1998. I've been working in phych for 13 of those years. I'm CPR/ First Aide certified. As a phych tech I'm skilled in ADL's , Blood Draws, finger sticks, feeding, grooming ext. I really love the field I'm in I enjoy taking care of others I feel every one deserves love and compassion while being taken care

Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care. One piece of my life that I've always been proud of is back in elementary school when I helped this one student who had spina bifida, use a walker, and wheel chair most of the time. I was their to open doors, move chairs, get things when needed, or help them out when they were tired. Over time it was recognized then was nominated for the Service Above Self Awards.

I am a passionate person who loves and enjoys helping others, especially elderly. I care greatly about helping them live independently in their homes while they are able to. I have started in the nursing career since I was 16 years. I worked in nursing homes, assisted living and private homes. I have been a part of end of life stages for those that have been diagnosed with cancer. i assisted the families as much as I could while caring for their loved one during the hardest times.

I worked in an assisted living and gained much experience with dementia residents. I dressed, bathed, fed, and helped with their walking and communication. I want to not only help the elderly but also help them enjoy their life. They have worked so hard and I want to give back.
