Hello I am 42 years old I started this line of work at 18 years old from, I had my CNA license for 15 years and I let them expire when I took on another job, Nursing homes to retirement centers and also In home.I did take 6 years off To start another adventure but I'm back to it I love what I do I am a free spirit..Thank you for taking the time to know a little bit about me.. I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

My best trait is having love for helping people. I've been a caregiver off and on for over 20 years. Just knowing that I'm able to help, be there for and be a dedicated helping hand is the highlight of loving what I do. My personal achievements are raising four amazing children, becoming a CNA at the age of 17, getting my associates degree to becoming a business owner.

I am a compassionate caregiver that strives to give the best best overall care for ALL seniors. Caregiving is one of the most rewarding careers to me because I know I am making a great difference in someone else's life.

I've been a CNA since 1998. I've been working in phych for 13 of those years. I'm CPR/ First Aide certified. As a phych tech I'm skilled in ADL's , Blood Draws, finger sticks, feeding, grooming ext. I have been a caregiver for 4 almost 5 years now and I love caring for others I've been had the love for it and I will continue to love and enjoy everything that I do. The thing that got me attracted to caregiving is my mother watching her take care of others and I always wanted to fulfill the need of being a caregiver to the elderly and anyone else. Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care.
