I am very compassionate and empathetic. I have taken care of others for many years including family members suffering from dementia as well as other cognitive and physical disorders. I enjoy helping others obtain happiness and contentment while being able to live in a home setting. The best part of being a care giver is the personal reward. My proudest personal achievement is being a mom and nana.

Over the years I lost all four of my grandparents to cancer. I became a caregiver because I want to help people that are going through the same obstacles they once were. Helping people is my passion. The best feeling in the world is making a slight difference in one's life, making someone smile is everything. When I take care of my resident's and I recieve a smile it makes me feel like I've done a wonderful job. What attracted me to caregiving is going to the nursing home everyday and seeing my grandfathers nurses and aides come in, they always had a smile on their face and it gave him one too. The things they did for him were amazing and I wanted to do the same for someone else's grandparents.

In the last few months I went to school, recently became a Cna and started working at a senior nursing facility. I love my job. Waking up and realizing you get to help multiple loved ones is a blessing to me. I provide exceptional care and compassion to everything I do. I have a handsome 2 year old son and elder parents who also need my help as well. Sometimes it's difficult balancing my personal life and my work life. But the outcome is amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world!. Being in the health field I've met many people of different walks of life, and I can say it's a beautiful thing. Getting to know different ways people live, their religion, background, ethnicity etc. has been very knowledgeable and a great blessing because I know I can take it with me wherever I go. Before going into food service I was CNA at mm Ewing continuing care center at FF Thompson Health Care. This career choice has many rewards and therefore I chose to further my education. I attended University of Phoenix and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare. My overall goal is to one day be my own boss and assist families with helping their loved ones at home. This is my passion my life's work.

I start nursing school in September and I am looking for side jobs to help me pay bills I have wanted to be a nurse for a very long time. Nursing is who I am and what I do.
