Hi! I've been in the home heath field for approximately 16 years on and off. I started in the nursing field at age 15 as a CNA working in a nursing home. I also worked in a Personal Care Home for 6 years. I enjoy taking care of seniors and individuals with disabilities. I love being able to care for others and the rewarding feeling that comes within. I'm a pround mom of 2 remarkable adult children and four amazing granddaughters!

Hi, my name is Danielle Dickison and I am a certified nurses aide, certified home health aide, and licensed practical nurse. I am certified in basic life support, CPR and AED, and first aid. Positive attributes to my personality that allow me to be a great caregiver are that I have a very big heart and I'm very caring. I treat all of my clients and residents as family. I am also cery dedicated to my work with a great worth ethic. The reason I chose to become a caregiver is because I have a family history of nurses, caregivers, and CNAs, and because I have always been drawn to caring for those who are no longer able to care for themselves independently. I feel as though as people who need help with activities of daily living, they deserve to have caregivers who genuinely care and value their career and the health, safety, and emotional and physical well-being. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people, and feeling like I am making a difference in other people's lives. I also love knowing that my clients and residents appreciate what I am doing. I feel very appreciated and fulfilled in my line of work. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school at age 16, and graduating nursing school and becoming an LPN at age 17.

I have been giving care for 10+ years and exclusively the last 5 years. I have a variety of skills and experience and am always willing to learn more so I can ensure your loved one is getting the best care possible. I have done simple companion care with a client who can still fully function but just needs some help to hospice- bedridden care and worked with nurses who come into the home, gone on Doctors appointments, done therapy and prescribed exercises, etc. But it's not just the medical care I provide- I also can make an excellent homecooked meal (not really into too much of the processed and junks foods so if you really want healthy good cooking- I'm your girl), keep a clean environment (no cross-contamination) a great listener, sing, play music and really try to have a good time with the person I am caring for. Does your loved one like certain activities? Then it's a priority for me to make them happen. Whether it's to go to a senior center and participate in an activity or do something at home- music, reading, catching up on a show they like, puzzles, games, taking a walk- I'm flexible and very open to doing what they love and to keep doing at long as we can so your loved one enjoys life to the fullest. Lastly, I keep you updated on anything and everything you want to know about the care being given. Often I get to the point where I can anticipate a need and will work with you to ensure the quality of care and comfort is never compromised when possible.
