I've worked as a caregiver since I was 16 at first with my own family then with home health companies, living facilities, psych wards, hospitals. I have extensive experience with children and geriatrics.

Was a (HCA -Home Care Aide) with the state of Ca. Moved back to Murfreesboro. I am easy-going. Do not take things personal. Safety and observant caregiving is my first priority. Experience in ADL care, Dementia , Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, OT and PT exercise, and diabetes. I have been doing caregiving for 15 yrs. I have been in the healthcare field for 20 years. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver? I have always liked being around the elderly. I volunteered for meals on wheels for four years. And in those four years. I got a one on one experience of the needs of the elderly. I get to help the elderly keep their dignity and there Independence . And stay in their own home where they feel safe.

Hey my name is Jatisha Odom ! I'm located in the murfreesboro area and willing to travel to smyrna, I've been in the caregiving field since i graduated in 2012 I've always had a passion in helping others , i helped out a lot with kids with disabilities while i was attending high school and it just grew on me . I know this job requires a lot of patiences and tolerance for challenging situations and i just love this type of work i took a four year break because i got pregnant and become a stay at home mom to my beautiful daughter but i was off work for awhile all my certificates expired but i plan to get my first aid and cpr certification back active and at the first of the year i plan to take my CNA classes to get my licenses here soon and add that to my profile I'm just looking for a great placement to pick back up on all of this but I'm very familiar with a lot of stuff as far as taking my clients to there appointments, doing the house needs, bathing, feeding , hospice, Hoyer lift etc. Whatever you name I've pretty much done it all and has dealt with a lot of clients with different disabilities and health problems . I'm a easygoing and energetic caregiver. Learning routines, meaning learning the way my patients/clients and theirs families would like things to be done is what made me a great caregiver. I love helping people who really can't help themselves feel a little better and feel comfortable is what attracted me to caregiving. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the companionships and making sure they get to their doctors appointments and grocery shopping for them really brightens their day. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is taking care of my grandmother all the way until the end. I always made sure she was comfortable, happy and satisfied. she often told me how proud she was of me for taking care of her.

I am a wife, mother of 2 amazing boys, and a nurse. I now stay home with my youngest son because my oldest son is away at college and my husband works crazy hours. I absolutely love taking care of people. It is my passion and what God put me on this earth for. I am a licensed practical nurse of three years. I have a great love for the elderly and very much enjoy their company. I currently have began a job change from home health to hospice. I am on call over the weekends starting 5pm Friday. I am looking for something more to do with available time. I have experience working with the elderly both as a caregiver before graduation and as an LPN. I am looking to provide companionship and help with daily activities on an as needed basis.

I have been an LPN for 30 years.I worked for approximately 25 years in long term care with geriatrics.I chose geriatrics after being a caregiver for my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia.After 25 years in long term care I transitioned to hospice care for the last 5 years.I continue to work with hospice prn and I am looking to work with patients to provide in home care.During my nursing career I specialized in wound care.I am a caregiver from the heart and will provide excellent care to those that I serve.
