Hi there, I am Jeannine; AKA "J" (for those that have a difficult time with my name). I'm uplifting, compassionate, kind and love to find humor throughout each day. I decided to go into caregiving full time after taking care of both parents until their passing. I became astutely aware of the necessity for a caregiver to possess the same qualities I have to offer others (and their family members) during the time I oversaw the needs of my own parents. I realize how important and upsetting it can be for families trying to fill their loved ones needs without adequate help, and welcome the opportunities to help those in need. To me, it is both rewarding and fulfilling to know I have made a positive difference in someone else's life.

Patience, empathy, reliability and honesty are top traits that I have learned to go above and beyond expressing over the decade put into caring for others. My passion began as a teenager, watching my mother operate a day program for mentally and physically challenged adults. I would spend early dismissal days at the program learning how to care and support adults who needed an extra hand. As I matured and ventured out into different career areas, I always seemed to end up back where I was most fulfilled and happy, which is caregiving. The rewards are in the smiles, milestones reached and surpassed and the trust that I build with the individuals and their families. Caregiving has allowed me to travel the US and gain experience in many different settings, while being exposed to the various challenges and conditions others face in the world. Gaining knowledge from medical professionals of all walks and being able to utilize everything I have learned have all benefited those I care for and allowed me to excel at what I love.

I am a VERY caring, loving , trustworthy, empathetic, dependable, patient & compassionate person. I love to care for others no matter the age, religion, disability or color. To see that you can put a smile on someone's face and make their lives easier in any way warms my heart. Within the first 3 months of working at Regional One Health as a Patient Care Assistant I was honored with an Over And Beyond article written about how I made a patient guest feel while taking care of her father. Word got around about how I took great care of her father and her as well! However, I did not know that they were good friends with the President and CEO Dr. Coopwood of Regional One Heath! Despite the challenges the rewards can be unsurpassable!

Well what makes me a good caregiver.... This is my gift, I was called to take of the elderly I love doing this and would'nt trade it for nothing.

Hello! I'm Angel Lewis and I have been in healthcare for seventeen years, CNA/Caregiver and an CMA for twelve years. I am an eleven year breast cancer survivor so I know all about bed side manner from the patients/clients point of view, as well as giving the patients/clients the independence and integrity they deserve. I enjoy helping and taking care of people and showing that there are still great people in the world !

I have always wanted to work in the health care field and I love helping others. Being able to help my clients to do things that others can't get them to do. Honest, hard working, I can work with anyone and I actually love being a caregiver.

I feel caregiving/cna is my true calling. I enjoy helping clients with activities of daily living whom can't do for themselves. I enjoy learning about the lives my clients have lived and their families. When I have a client whom has Alzheimers or Dementia, I enjoy stepping into their world.

I became a nurse after I had my child. I have 15 years of experience as a nurse and I'm CPR certified. I've been a nurse since 2000. I started by working in the hospital and moved into private duty nursing. I've taken care of people of all ages from preemies to hospice, from mental disabilities to physical ones. I love what I do. I'll admit I get car sick so riding around isn't a good idea for me but as long as I'm driving I'm good. I do clean while I'm working. Taking out trash, doing dishes that were used, laundry, and any other messes that may come up. I'm not someone that is always on my phone and I like to interact with the people I work with. I'm a great listener and a fast learner. I love working with and learning about new people. At the moment I have a vehicle from 9am until 9pm. I've alway been told that I'm a people person and can get along with anyone. And I really hope that I will get that chance. My rate is negotiable depending on care.
