Communication is key, along with encouragement, patience, and creative problem-solving skills. Growing up as a child, I helped my grandmother with her medical needs and that is what inspired me to get in the medical field. Caring for other people makes me feel valued. I have wonderful relationships with my clients. While I am doing their ironing or washing the floor, we're laughing and chatting. They enjoy telling me their stories, sometimes from years ago and I get pleasure from listening to them. Personal achievements that I am proud of are having an associates and bachelors degree in the medical sciences field.

I'm a easygoing and energetic caregiver. Learning routines, meaning learning the way my patients/clients and theirs families would like things to be done is what made me a great caregiver. I love helping people who really can't help themselves feel a little better and feel comfortable is what attracted me to caregiving. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the companionships and making sure they get to their doctors appointments and grocery shopping for them really brightens their day. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is taking care of my grandmother all the way until the end. I always made sure she was comfortable, happy and satisfied. she often told me how proud she was of me for taking care of her.

I have been a certified Nursing Assistant for 31 years. CPR Updated every 2 years. Have taken both Covid-19 Vaccination. I love people and Nursing is my passion.

Having spent decades of my life caring for my elderly patients and I love every minute of it, Such an honor for me ! Being a trusted caregiver for many years with patients from all walks of life in various stages in life; sometimes with physical/mental decline I offer care that you can trust. I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives. I give those families comfort in knowing that I will do a good job taking care of their most precious loved ones. It was in nursing school that I knew being a caregiver to the elderly was my passion. I love that I can make individuals feel loved even though I'm not actual family but in time I do feel like family as they have become like family to me. I know that when I give attention to my patients that they are receiving the BEST care that I can humanly give them, I know without a doubt that I'm doing what is most comforting and safe for them. I am Reliable, Dependable, Honest, Work with Integrity, Compassionate, Always willing to work with schedule changes, and my word is my promise. It make me feel good to know that I can take a load off of family members while relieving stress and pressure because we know that caring for a family member is exhausting, I've been there and know. I take no shortcuts in the care of my patients always treating others as I would like to be treated and for me that's as if they were my family.

I consider myself a great caregiver, because I love what I do as a caregiver. I love making sure that the individuals feel loved and make sure all their needs are obtained. I started out very young as a caregiver, taking care of my father and aunts when they could not do things for themselves. Throughout the years those skills stayed with me. The one thing that I like most about being a caregiver is being the best that I can be. The two most valuable achievment that made me proud was becoming a mother and grandmother.

I have at least 11 years in the caregiving industry and I believe my personal traits of compassion, reliability, and patience is what helps me be a great caregiver. My caring spirit is what attracted me to being a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is simply being able to help others! Gaining a deeper appreciation for life and understanding what truly matters!

I enjoy getting to know my clients and caring for them. Caregiving is something that just came natural to me, but I also grew up in the home with medical professions which created this dream of mine.
