Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 7). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 14 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. Hi I'm sara, I'm 25 years old with a strong and motivated mindset. I am always coming up with creative ways to put a smile on my clients faces! Keeping their spirits high has always made a positive impact on them. I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I believe one of the reasons I am a great caregiver is because I take my time, encourage and follow safety protocols when working with the clients. I keep it professional and I know how to keep what could seem like a bad day a great day! I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, home healthcare and hospice. I love taking care of the elderly, I look at each and everyone of them as if they were my grandparents. What made me want to become a CNA was watching my grandmother suffer and succumb to cancer and there wasn't anything I could do to help her feel better. Hello I have been a CNA for over 10 years. I've worked from Texas to Colorado during covid. Recently I had my first child who is 11 months already so I am finally going to settle down in one spot. I've lived in Corsicana for 17 years so this is home. I followed in my sister's footsteps who was a CNA first and in my opinion the best if I can be half as good as she was. I like the one on one time with my patients versus the nursing home environment which is fast paced very little time with each patient. I've worked in nursing homes for all 17 years either with an agency or the facility it's self. I've worked as a sitter for different families as well during my time.

I have been Caregiving for 5 yrs. I also take care of my mom who has dementia. I am good to get along with and i have a heart to help others. It makes me happy knowing I made someone's day. I'm Very personal when it comes to my job. I will give that attentiveness one needs. I enjoy being a caregiver because I can help the family's get through life easier knowing their love you is taken care of. I treat my clients just like I would want someone to treat my mom and grandma.

I have been a caregiver for 32yrs. And there is quality to life and I believe you can live it to the fullest.I know it is hard on a client when they can no longer do the things that they use to do and that is very understandable, you have to have time and patience until they can wrap their mind around what has happen to them and it can be frustrating for them and you reassure them that everything is going to be OK, and with time they can come around . I love challenges that's what make it so rewarding in the end.
