Hello my name is Olivia. I am a mother of 4 last 2 girls are attending Westlake High. I am bilingual, I enjoy being a caregiver i get to know my clients and help them to continue doing their hobbies they once use to do. I love to listen to stories they have endured while growing up. My clients I care for I take care of them as I would my own family. I was born & raised in San Marcos but moved to Kyle a couple months ago. My clients are mainly from Austin,Tx. My specific areas I have had my pleasure of working with my clients were Westlake/Rollingwood, Brookdale on Mesa Dr. / Baltierra / Querencia Assisted living/so many other places. I have been doing caregiving since I remember the first time my mom got diagnosed with being a diabetic I was about 15. So I learned about it by going with her to her appointments. So about 25+ yrs. of experience as I got older I cared for my mom then later my father til they past. I love taking care of others sometimes I wish there were more of me to help others. I have done it all from tube feeding to hoyer lift, Companion to bed bound. I do have a pharmacy tech. trainee certificate. If any more questions please do ask. I am a caring, loyal, reliable, patient, positive & trustworthy person. I love & enjoy care-giving, spending time serving & helping --working with families to care for their loved ones. I have had many experiences with my own family members dating back to 1994 as well, so I can completely understand & relate to what other families are going through. Those experiences & my long & extensive years working with many other families over time is what makes me an excellent caregiver. Home health to me is so much more than just a job. Its the ability to help people, lighten their families stress, new friendships, and to bring a little joy to them. I got started helping my G. Aunt, who was a home nurse, when I was younger with our own family ailments. My uncle an Gma both had a long fight with cancer; My father had multiple sclerosis; my mom a diabetic/work aholic with heart issues; and I also learned all about dementia an Alzheimer's first hand from caring for my G. Gma. Understanding what the patient is actually going through is essential, but Understanding the hardships the family goes through caring for a loved one is a important key in there loved ones care. Number one rule an my most important one is I always care for a client as if I were caring for my own family. I treat clients and patients as I wish to be treated, honesty, patience, and respect. After graduating high school I worked for hospice care for 2 years before taking a much needed break, (it hurt to much when it was there time to move on). Almost 6 years ago I went back to the same company but chose home health care instead . I worked with them 3 years as a special attendant. The rules became a headache to keep up with their contestant changing so I decided to go elsewhere. My current employer I have been with for almost 3 years. I am a hard worker and I learn fast. I have experience with most medical equipment including: hoyer lift -auto/manual, catheters/cholostomy bags, blood pressure cuffs/pulse ox/thermometers, oxygen machine and portable oxygen bottles, walkers and wheelchairs/electric scooters , bed alarms and hospital beds, etc. I do document visits with clients so families will be able to refer to book for any questions or concerns they may have about any shift, past or current.

I am a Great Caregiver because I put the Clients needs before my needs. My main Priority is making sure my client is Taken care with High quality care and is Happy and comfortable. I became a Caregiver because I have a big heart and I really care about helping People. I enjoy going to bed at night knowing I made my Client smile and met their personal needs to keep them going.

Hello my name is Alexis I became a CNA in 2014 in Ohio where my mothers family resides. I then moved back home where my family lives which is in Montana and I started working as a certified nursing assistant about four hours away in Minot North Dakota there I helped an RN who owned her own home healthcare company and was responsible for up to 6 to 8 patients daily by myself providing all cares and taking care of the cooking the feeding and transportations . I then came to Austin Texas and became a field specialist for BrightStar Care which just means I went to multiple different patients homes I did trainings with other aids and skills as well as just saw multiple different clients in 2018 they decided to bring me into the office that is where I became a senior lead client care manager over the course of four years . I have Attended CHCP and there I received my medical coding and billing certification and last month I graduated with my associates degree in medical health and administrative sciences. I am currently in my bachelor's program and I'm wanting to get back to caregiving to remember why we do what we do when I graduate with my bachelors and start working in a position where hopefully one day I hope to make real change to our healthcare system.
