I have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Technical College of IN. I have worked in an Assisted Living facility in IN as well as a nursing facility. I prefer caring for an individual that would love to live in their own home independently. I have experience with Alzheimer's, mobility impairment and strokes. I am experienced in medicine administration. I have knowledge of diabetes and meal planning.

I'm also a NRCMA have experience in home health also in a family practice clinic and urent care clinics as well.I have worked alot with Dementia/Alzheimer's patients. I started out in this field receiving my CNA many years ago and have advanced and developed many skills since then . Because of my eagerness to grow and learn I have held many positions, I have been in the nursing field for over 30 years and have compassion and patience when dealing with clients and always maintain a high level of professionalism . Been a caregiver I love known when I take care of a patient i give my best to make sure they are right in every way and when I'm finish I'm smiling from ear to ear cause I know I just made GOD proud ' my mom got real sick before she died and I had to learn how to take care of her and I did, my personal achievement I'm proud of is when I not just having my patients looking and feeling good on the out side but feeling good and motivated in the inside to

I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself. I'm a very easy going person, I've been a CNA over 20 plus years. I treat my clients as though we're family or the way I want my mother to be treated. What attracted my to caregiving, was having compassion for others. I most enjoy about caregiving is getting to know my clients and/or their family. My personal achievement is loving the care I give and knowing I'm doing my best.

It is not my favorite job, but I Really enjoy working with hospice. I am bubbly and friendly and get along well with most people. A lot of people are afraid of working with hospice, but I enjoy learning about them and their lives. I have also helped my own family die after taking them into my home. I really mean it when I say that I will treat them as my own family.
