I have been a caregiver and a Medication Aide for the past 17 years, both in facilities and in-home private care, especially with different forms of dementia like Alzheimers, Parkinson, Vascular and lewy body dementia. I am a good listener, patient, detail oriented and compassionate. I love to organize too. After the diagnosis of our mother with Alzheimers, I realized how much care she needed and in return I knew this is what I wanted to do as a career. What I enjoy the most about caregiving, is seeing the relief of families when I am there to help, in the comfort of their own homes. I'm also certified in First Aid/ CPR. Im a very loving and personable person.

I have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Technical College of IN. I have worked in an Assisted Living facility in IN as well as a nursing facility. I prefer caring for an individual that would love to live in their own home independently. I have experience with Alzheimer's, mobility impairment and strokes. I am experienced in medicine administration. I have knowledge of diabetes and meal planning.

I am completing my graduate degrees, in social work and theology. I am a veteran who has experience as medic as well as over 10 years of caregiving experience. Although I am meticulous about client safety and well-being, I try to make sure clients are comfortable and enjoying their time with me. My ultimate goal is to be part of a care team that helps keep individuals in the home for as long as possible.
