Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 7). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 14 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. While taking care of my father, I found joy in caring for others.After losing my father I card for other family members while obtaining my CNA license. Hi I'm sara, I'm 25 years old with a strong and motivated mindset. I am always coming up with creative ways to put a smile on my clients faces! Keeping their spirits high has always made a positive impact on them. I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I believe one of the reasons I am a great caregiver is because I take my time, encourage and follow safety protocols when working with the clients. I keep it professional and I know how to keep what could seem like a bad day a great day! I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, home healthcare and hospice. I have been in the Hospice and Home Health profession for well over 17 years. I understand the need for compassionate, patient, empathetic, trust worthy, and hard working individuals in this field. I love taking care of the elderly, I look at each and everyone of them as if they were my grandparents. What made me want to become a CNA was watching my grandmother suffer and succumb to cancer and there wasn't anything I could do to help her feel better. I love being a CNA because of the relationships and connections I develop with each person I care for. I learn so much by just having conversations with my elders.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am passionate, considerate, sympathetic and go above and beyond for my patients. Helping those that aren't able to do for themselves has always been a passion of mine. I do this because I love what I do and they become part of my extended family. Even after my services are over we still stay in contact. Continuing my education in my later years is going to be a big accomplishment for me. Im doing something that will not only make my family proud but it will help others as well.
