My personality is very willing to help, I will break my back for one another. Something that will help me become a great caregiver is the environment I don't like negativity I want nothing but positive thoughts around. What attracted me into being a care giver is when my grandma passed away. What I enjoy most about care giving is making someone smile or even just to have a conversation with them. I love being that hand to help. I am proud of my most recent achievement which Is graduating from high school being certified as a pct and then I went straight to college and is still attending.

Iam a people person I like to talk help out when needed like to cook pNd listen and care about what they want and I don't believe in being mean to no one even if they are wrong. And like when I took careofahospice person I did not love him till he died cuz no one should never die alone I will stay till they are gone

I keep a smile on my face and get along with everyone. I'm good at putting myself in someone else shoes and relating. The best place to be is home, so I like to help keep people home as long as possible. I am a chatter box and love to listen to others stories.

I have been a caregiver for 20 years, much longer if you count the years I helped my mother with my grandma from the age of 11. I love working with people and making someone smile, I have a heart to give my all to anyone I come in contact with. I have been named caregiver of the year 7 times!! I believe in treat others how you want to be treated so I put that into my everyday with my patients, what if this was my mom or dad or child or even myself

I love being able to make someone's life better and as easy as possible. My goal is too keep you in your home for as long as you see fit and to make you comfortable. I'm 34 have a lot of experience in this field. I truly enjoy being able to help others and putting a smile on their faces. I am a very patient and go with flow kind of person. I don't let a lot bother me, I would much rather enjoy my day than not. I enjoy hearing about their lives and getting to know them.

I became a caregiver right out of college to help presue my dream of working with children. I worked for the same family for 2 years, helping their severely disabled son. When I first started working for the family the 11 yr old son was very malnourished weighing in at 22 lbs, I was able to build the type of relationship with his mother that she soon entrusted me with feeding him pouches of baby food instead of oatmeal 3 times a day. Was able to learn all the physical therapy he was needing and able to practice with him daily. Over the two years he did manage to weigh in at 47lbs of muscle. The congenial degenerative disease he had required him to gain weight which was one of the things his mother struggled with.. Then I was blessed with a child of my own and could no longer care for my charge due to weight lifting restrictions during my pregnancy. Was blessed with a son and spent the next few years caring for him, as well as my mother and my grandparents all of whoms health was rapidly declining. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to continue to give love to those who have loved and taken care of their own families. It give me a sense of peace knowing that I am able to make their lives just a little bit better by being there for them in whatever way they need. My greatest personal achievement would have to be bringing an older patient (whom I was in charge of for 4 months) out of a panic attack. After working with her for 12 hours a day I was able to build that trust and bond with her and she knew, even at the end of her care that I truly loved her and only wanted the best for her and her family. Even though it was sad and made me cry I know she and her family were very happy with the care she received from me. I've been told I have an empathic personality. And I would love to be able to find the right fit taking care of others family members who could use a little bit extra in their care.

I started working with individuals with special needs back in 2012 during my senior year of high school. I new it was my passion to make a career in this field. In 2013 upon graduation I got a job as an activity coordinator at a day program for individuals with special needs. I worked in the sensory integration room with individuals with autism that had high behavioral needs. I loved this work so much in 2014 I decided to open my home and become a host home provider. I supported two ladies with cp in all aspects of their daily life. This was truest the most amazing thing I have ever done. I then became a house manager for a group home and managed 3 individuals and 16 staff. In 2017 I relocated to Lubbock Texas for school met my now husband and started a family. I have since been a stay at home mom. I still have an immense love for working with individuals with special needs and can't wait to start working with them and their families again.
