I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. My experience has been primarily with seniors living in assisted living facilities and their private homes. Through various home health agencies I ve also learned many restorative exercises and how to use medical equipment. I enjoy what I do because I able to help a family in need by keeping their loved one in home.

I am a retired nurse with experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, mental health, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and dementia. I am certified in many areas of nursing and fluent with many medical equipments including oxygen. I am very out going and love to laugh, cook, do laundry(yes, really!), And I take pride in my work.
