I consider myself a good listener, optimistic, patient, and sensitive to other people's feelings and emotions. I like taking care of others because it reminds me of the time I used to take care of my grandmother and spend time with her either during good times or bad times. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is listening to others while I make myself available to help them. I am proud of having a psychologist bachelors degree.

I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. This is my calling and I have enjoyed these last 11 years doing this.

I went to nursing school in 2014. I have my associates of science (AAS), and was working in a nursing home as a nurse assistant for 3 years. I really enjoyed with my elderly residents and taking care of their needs. In 2021, I started working for Carelinx and I've really enjoyed helping and meeting new people. I'm currently working to get my bachelor's as a geriatric nurse. One day, I hope to work in a nursing home to help my residents.

I am certified in many areas of nursing and fluent with many medical equipments including oxygen. I am very out going and love to laugh, cook, do laundry(yes, really!), And I take pride in my work.

I am a certified medical assistant with 10years experience 1year with a sleep center and 9years with cardiology where I currently work full time . I absolutely love my job and really enjoy helping others . I do help my patients in my area who do not have anyone else to help them or just need someone to talk to . I am fluent in Spanish and English very dependable and always willing to do extra . I am married and have a3 year old daughter and EIGHT dogs !

I love to be there for my elders and making sure they are takin care of all the time and paid attention to. Theyve been here before us. What has my attention the most about care giving is the thought of my grand mother's presence there with me before sure passed I was like her care giver. Hello my name is Katlyn. I currently live in Pleasanton TX. I have been a caregiver since my early teens. I have always loved and got along better with my elders then people my own age it seems like. My current job I am a caregiver and I love all the people I help. They are more then just my clients they are like my family and I treat them as such. I love what I do and I love seeing the smile on their faces when they see me. It's not always about the health needs or daily things they need done sometimes it's about them having a social life as well. I will always go above and beyond what is expected and I'm happy to do so.

I am very compassionate when it comes to elderly/disabled people due to the fact that I think that they should be treated with the upmost respect and care. Going up in a very small tightknit family I was able to help firsthand with taking care of my great grandparents during and after high school. Im attracted to caregiving for the simple fact that I can create a great companionship with my patient. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is having the opportunity to get to know somebody and their daily routine, not to mention being able to get to know my patient like a friend. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is being able to purchase my own LLC with my family in order to create our own business.

Since I was a little girl I've felt I had a calling to care for others and help them feel better. It's been a life long passion to pursue my education in Nursing. I have a heart of gold, and am extremely compassionate, and empathetic. I do my absolute best to treat others as I would like to be treated. To care for anothers as if it were me, with kindness, respect, and understanding. Seeing a smile on someone's face absolutely fills my heart with joy. I've babysat since I was 10 years of age. I volunteered at a local hospital during High School in the Obstetrics Department, and Operating Room. I also went to Nursing Camp at Houston Baptist University. I stood in on 3 different surgeries, one of which I later had myself. I was a Girl Scout until 21 years of age, and a Camp Counselor and Nurse during the summer after my senior year of High School. I then went on the become a CNA, a Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. I plan to further my education in Nursing. I look forward to providing the best care possible to every client I cross paths with professionally in the future.
